Notice of Making
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director of Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council has made the Wigan Borough (Kirkhall Lane, Leigh) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023 on 2nd November 2023.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven on Kirkhall Lane, Leigh at its junction with Victoria Street, Leigh between 19th February 2024 to 24th February 2024.
The alternative route for traffic is: Atherleigh Way - Twist Lane - Wigan Road - Nel Pan Lane.
The Order is necessary to allow for electric cable installation.
