Shropshire - Temporary Road Traffic Restrictions To Allow Necessary Works To Be Undertaken

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER/S
 PUBLIC NOTICES OF MAKING

NOTICE is hereby given that Shropshire Council (The Council) have made an Order/s under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 (as amended), the effect of which is to restrict the use of roadsas stated below. The Order/s for regulation is/are required for the purpose/s as stated below. There are exemptions in the Order/s to permit pedestrian access (and/or vehicular access at the discretion of the Council or Statutory Undertaker) to any land or premises having a frontage to the said highway affected where there is no other form of access, and to any access allowing the necessary works to be undertaken. Access will be maintained for cyclists, pedestrians and dismounted horse riders unless stated below. The alternative route/s for those affected by the proposal/s is/are as stated below. The Order/scame into force on 13th November 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months (unless extended upon the direction of the Secretary of State) or until any said works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is expected that the Order/s will only be operative for the duration as stated below.
It is intended that the proposed restriction/s will come into force on the 13th November 2023 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months (unless extended upon the direction of the Secretary of State) or until any said works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is expected the Order will only be operative for the duration as stated in below.

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Benthall Lane, Broseley
Date & Duration: 19th November 2023 between 08:00 to 16:00
Purpose: Road Closure - Openreach - Access to network
Alternative Route : B4375, B4376, Bridgnorth road, B4375

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Brickwalls Lane, Fenns Bank
Date & Duration: 13th November 2023 for 3 days
Purpose: Road Closure - Bbox Renew 25mm add Meter
Alternative Route : Unnamed road South, Platt Lane, Fenns Bank road, Brickwall Lane

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Chapel Street, Wem. At the same time the one way order will be suspended on Drawell Street, Wem
Date & Duration: 13th November 2023 for 4 days
Purpose: Road Closure - Lay a new supply
Alternative Route : High Street, Mill Street, Drawwell Lane

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Church Road, Baschurch
Date & Duration: 15th November 2023 for 17 days
Purpose: Road Closure - New electric supply to development.
Alternative Route : B4397, Newtown, Church Road

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Church Street, Bridgnorth
Date & Duration: 19th November 2023 for 1 day
Purpose: Road Closure-Severn Trent Water-correct depression in blocks and relay

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Catherton road, near Hill Houses
Date & Duration: 13th November 2023 for 1 day between 09:30 to 15:30
Purpose: Road Closure-Openreach-Replace decayed pole
Alternative Route : Unnamed road South East, Common Lane, Unnamed road North West, Unnamed road North, Unnamed road East

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed road from A488 Pontesford towards Earls Hill
Date & Duration: 19th November 2023 for 1 day
Purpose: Road Closure - Severn Trent Water, remedial works required to defective reinstatement following core sample failure.

Date & Duration: 16th November 2023 for 2 nights between 20:00 to 06:00

Purpose: Pre Dressing Patching Works

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using B5476 Wem to Tilstock
Date & Duration: 15th November 2023 for 9 days between 09:30 to 16:00
Purpose: Pre Dressing Patching works and lining works

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Tenbury Road, Cleobury Mortimer to Boraston Bank
Date & Duration: 13th November 2023 for 5 days between 09:30 to 15:00
Purpose: Reactive defects, minor works and resurfacing

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed road north of Ratlinghope
Date & Duration: 13th November 2023 for 2 days between 0930 to 1600
Purpose: Renew road markings
Alternative Route : C150 through Pulverbatcvh, Longden, Annscroft and Hook A Gate, Roman Road, Hereford Road, A49, A489, Unnamed road North and North East

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using B4396 Llynclys to Woolston Bank junction
Date & Duration: 17th November 2023 for 1 day between 09:30 to 16:00
Purpose: Carriageway repairs
Alternative Route : A483, A5, B4397 and B4396

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using St Mary’s Place, Shrewsbury. Whilst works are in progress the No Entry and one way order of Windsor Place will be rescinded.
Date & Duration: 19th November 2023 for 1 day
Purpose: Road Closure - Severn Trent Water, remedial works to defective reinstatement.
Alternative Route : Castle Street, St Marys Street

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Top Street, Whittington
Date & Duration: 13th November 2023 for 5 days
Purpose: Road Closure - Connections on to the water network from top street works are in the c/w.

Date & Duration: 15th November 2023 for 3 days
Purpose: Road Closure - Air valve Rebuild chamber

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed road between Yorton and B5476
Date & Duration: 16th November 2023 from 23:00 to 06:00 17th November 2023
Purpose: Road Closure - Detailed examination of railway bridge
Alternative Route : Station Road, Wem Road, B5476, Unnamed road East

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed road at Ellerton, Hinstock
Date & Duration: 14th November 2023 for 4 days between 09:30 to 16:00
Purpose: Road Closure to enable carriageway repairs
Alternative Route : Goldstone Road, Marsh Lane, Unnamed road East

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed road from Nesscliffe to A5 Felton Butler Island
Date & Duration: 13th November 2023 for 5 nights between 21:00 to 06:00
Purpose: Electrical works by National Highways, road from
