ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (PEDLEY LANE, CLIFTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Pedley Lane, Clifton outside numbers 1 to 3.

This temporary closure is required to enable footway patching works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 27 to 29 November 2023 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period. The alternative route for this closure is via Spring Road, Shefford Road, Grange Street and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 27 November 2023 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (LINK ROAD FROM GIRTFORD BRIDGE TO A1 NORTHBOUND, SANDY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Link Road from Girtford Bridge to A1 Northbound, Sandy between A603 Slip and Texaco Garage.

This temporary closure is required to enable kerb line revision works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 1 to 15 December 2023 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via A603, A1 and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 1 December 2023 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (BEDFORD ROAD, SANDY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Bedford Road, Sandy at its junction with Girtford Bridge to A1.

This temporary closure is required to enable arboricultural works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 27 November to 11 December 2023 between the hours of 9am and 3:30pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Vinegar Hill, Hitchin Road, Biggleswade Road, A1 and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 27 November 2023 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (THORNCOTE ROAD, NORTHILL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Thorncote Road, Northill between Barley Mow and Kilchoan.

This temporary closure is required to enable drainage works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 13 to 14 November 2023 between the hours of 9am and 3pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Thorncote Road, Ickwell Road, Northill Road, Caldecote Road, Ickwell Road, Vinegar Hill, Hatch Road and vice versa.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (MEPPERSHALL ROAD, UPPER STONDON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Meppershall Road, Upper Stondon outside The Meads.

This temporary closure is required for mains laying works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 13 to 24 November 2023. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Stondon Road, Shillington Road, Meppershall Road, Upton End Road, Marquis Hill, Stondon Road, Shillington Road, Station Road, Hillside Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 13 November 2023 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
