What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

A957 STONEHAVEN

– TEMPORARY

30MPH SPEED LIMIT

“The Aberdeenshire Council (A957 Slug Road, Stonehaven – 13.11.23) (Temporary 30mph Speed Limit) Order, 2023” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

The order will operate from 13.11.23 for 18 months and will introduce a 30mph speed limit on the A957 Slug Road, Stonehaven from the commencement of the A90 overpass to 70 metres west of the Recycling Centre junction.

The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety. Consultations for a permanent 30mph speed limit order at the location will be promoted during the course of the temporary order.
