What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

A937 – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

“The Aberdeenshire Council (A937 Marykirk Bridge – 10.11.23) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2023” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. The order will operate from 10/11/23 for 12 weeks and will prohibit any person from driving on the A937 Marykirk Bridge from Marykirk Bridge to Marymill Farm House.

The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety due to damage caused from Storm Babet. An alternative route is available via Northbound – A937 to Montrose – A935 – Brechin Flyover – A90 towards Stonehaven – Stonehaven Flyover at Glasslaw – A90 Southbound  –  A937 Southbound – A937 – A90 Southbound – Brechin Flyover – A935 to Montrose – A937.
