What is happening?

London Borough of Redbridge

The Council of The London Borough of Redbridge The Redbridge (Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2021 (Amendment No. *) Order 202*

The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 15 of the Greater London Council Act 1972 and Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 121A and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and of all other enabling powers, propose to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to:

1. Install double yellow lines; i) on the bend opposite Nos. 37 to 43 Felstead Avenue IG5; ii) both sides along the full length of Aldborough Court IG2;

2. Install a goods vehicle loading bay operating 9am to 3pm and 7pm to 7am Monday to Sunday maximum stay 1 hour no return within 1-hour, outside nos. 79 to 87 Cranbrook Road IG1;

3. Install a goods vehicle loading bay operating 10am to 2pm and 7pm to 7am Monday to Sunday maximum stay 30 minutes no return within 1-hour, outside nos. 68 to 72 Cranbrook Road IG1;

4. Install a goods vehicle loading bay operating 6am to 7.30pm Thursdays only no maximum stay, outside nos. 37 to 45 Cranbrook Road IG1;

5. Install a shared-use bay goods vehicle loading bay operating 6am to 6pm Monday to Sunday maximum stay 30 minutes no return within 1-hour and taxis at all other times, outside nos. 25 and 27 Cranbrook Road IG1;

6. Implement Red Route controls on which stopping of vehicles is prohibited at all times including existing bus stops (except for local buses) in; (i) East side of Cranbrook Road; opposite no 135 to 72 Cranbrook Road, between no 68 Cranbrook Road to the junction with High Road (Ilford); (ii) west side of Cranbrook Road; between nos 115 to 127 and 87 Cranbrook Road, between nos 77 to 45 Cranbrook Road, between nos 35 to 27 Cranbrook Road, between Ilford Station and its junction with Ilford Hill; (ii) Ilford Hill, outside nos. 83 and 85;

7. Convert the existing free bay in Woodlands Road IG1 outside Nos.83/85 to single yellow line operating Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm;

8. Convert the existing single yellow line to two-wheel pavement permit (HD) parking at all times opposite Nos. 106 to 124 New North Road;

A copy of the Order, the map schedules and map schedule legend indicating the location and the effects may be examined at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford IG1 1 NY between 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday (except on Bank Holidays). Any representation in relation to the proposed Order must be made in writing stating the grounds on which they are made and sent to the council by email to: parking.schemes@redbridge.gov.uk or by writing to: Parking Design team, 2nd Floor, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY (quoting reference LBR. 2023/T28), within 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
