What is happening?

CITY OF BRISTOL

(KNOLE LANE, BRENTRY, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Knole Lane from Ash Walk to Brentry Lane.
The Order is required because drainage excavation and connection works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 11th December 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 11th December 2023 and 22nd December 2023).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Knole Lane (part unaffected), Charlton Road, Passage Road, Passage Road Roundabout, Knole Lane (part unaffected) and vice versa

(ST. THOMAS STREET, REDCLIFF, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of St. Thomas Street which extends from Mitchell Court to Mitchell Lane.
The Order is required because utility service connection works for a development site are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 3rd December 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 3rd December 2023 and 3rd January 2025).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
Northbound – Mitchell Lane, Victoria Street, St. Thomas Street East, St. Thomas Street (part unaffected)
Southbound – St. Thomas Street (part unaffected), Victoria Street, Redcliff Street, Three Queens Lane

(GREENLEAZE, KNOWLE, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Greenleaze which extends from Kingshill Road to Wells Road.
The Order is required because sewer renovation works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 4th December 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 8:00 a.m. and 10.00 p.m. daily from 4th December 2023 to 8th December 2023).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wells Road, Crossways Road, Kingshill Road and vice versa
