ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that on 6 November 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The Orders further amend the Oxfordshire County Council (Summertown) (Controlled Parking Zone and Various Restrictions) Order 2004, the City of Oxford (Jericho) (Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone) Order 2000, the Oxfordshire County Council (North Summertown) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2007, and the Oxfordshire County Council (West Oxford and Osney Mead) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Consolidation Order 2009.
The orders, which come into force on 13 November amend the eligibility of the following properties to apply for Residents & Visitors Parking Permits as follows:
1. Summertown - allow Grove House, St James Row, No.3 Grove Street to be eligible for one resident's parking permit and residents' visitors' parking permits,
2. Jericho - allow No.1 Canal Street to apply for resident's parking permits & residents' visitors parking permits,
3. North Summertown - exclude the Ave new dwellings at No.4 Bladon Close from eligibility for resident's parking permits and residents' visitors' parking permits,
4. West Oxford & Osney Mead - exclude the new dwellings at No.1 North Street from eligibility for resident's parking permits and residents' visitors' parking permits.
Additionally, amendments (with no loss to the number of spaces) are made to the parking provision on North Street to accommodate the adjacent residential development at No.1 North Street as follows:
5. The shared-use 'Permit holders' or 'non-permit holders for 2 hours Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm' parking bay on the south side is reduced by 4.5 metres, and relocated to the north side at the eastern end of the existing 'Permit holders only' parking bay.

If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from 6 November 2023 apply to the High Court for this purpose. (WOODSTOCK) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**
NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the order - in support of road safety issues - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit within Woodstock town replacing the majority of the existing 30mph speed limit (incorporating the existing 20mph speed limit) leading out to the following points:
1. A44 Oxford Road - a point 30 metres southeast of its junction with Rectory Lane,
2. A44 Manor Road - a point 85 metres north of its junction with Vermont Drive,
3. Banbury Road - a point 125 metres northeast of its junction with Budds Close,
4. Churchill Gate - its junction with the A44 Oxford Road,
5. Cadogan Park - its junction with the A44 Oxford Road,
6. Hill Rise (north & south access) - its junctions with the A44 Manor Road,
7. Oxford Road Service Road - its junction with the A44 Oxford Road,
8. Shipton Road - a point 50 metres east & south of its junction with Randolph Avenue.
Lengths of 30mph speed limit will be retained as 'buffer' limits on the northern & southern ends of the A44 Oxford/Manor Road, and the eastern end of Shipton Road approaching the village, with Officers having taken the current road environment & traffic usage into account. The existing 50mph speed limits on the A44 Oxford & Manor Road will remain unaffected by these proposals.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Woodstock) (Speed Limits) Order 2022 will be revoked/replaced as necessary.

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the end of 01 December 2023. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the

(SHELLINGFORD PARISH) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that on 6 November 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order, which comes into force on 13 November introduces a 20mph speed limit throughout Shellingford replacing the previous 30mph speed limit on the following roads:
1. B4508 Fernham Road - from a point 99 metres northeast of its junction with Church Street south-westwards for a distance of 656 metres,
2. Church Street - for its entire length.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Shellingford Parish) Order 2000 is revoked/replaced.

(LONGCOT, SHRIVENHAM & WATCHFIELD) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that on 6 November 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order, which comes into force on 13 November introduce a 20mph speed limit in Longcot (excluding the B4508 Shrivenham/Fernham Road), replacing the previous 30mph speed limit -leading outwards to the following points:
1. Fernham Road - its junction with the B4508 Fernham Road,
2. Kings Lane - a point 365 metres northwest of its junction with Kings Farm Close,
3. Mallins Lane - its junction with the B4508 Fernham Road,
4. Priory Mead - its junction with the B4508 Fernham Road,
5. Shrivenham Road - its junction with the B4508 Shrivenham Road.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Longcot, Shrivenham & Watchfield) (Speed Limits) Order 2021 is revoked/replaced. (WOOLSTONE PARISH) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that on 6 November 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order, which comes into force on 13 November introduces a 20mph speed limit throughout Woolstone near Faringdon, replacing the previous 30mph speed limit in its entirety - leading outwards to the following points:
1. Marsh Way - a point 217 metres west of its junction with the unnamed road running south to the B4507,
2. Woolstone Road - a point 985 metres northeast of its junction with the unnamed road running south to the B4507,
3. The unnamed road running south to the B4507 - a point 423 metres south of its junction with Marsh Way & Woolstone Road.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Woolstone Parish) Order 2000 is revoked/replaced.

(GREAT COXWELL & LITTLE COXWELL) (SPEED LIMITS) (NO.2) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that on 6 November 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order, which comes into force on 13 November introduces a 20mph speed limit throughout Great Coxwell, replacing the previous 30mph speed limit - leading outwards to the following points:
1. Cherry Orchard/Great Coxwell Road - a point 40 metres southeast of its junction with the access to the 'Faringdon Grange' holiday park,
2. The Holloway Road - a point 312 metres north of its junction with Cherry Orchard.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Great Coxwell and Little Coxwell) (Speed Limits) Order 2023 is revoked/replaced. (STANDLAKE PARISH) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that on 6 November 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order, which comes into force on 13 November introduces a 20mph speed limit throughout Standlake (including Brighthampton) replacing the majority of the previous 30mph speed limit in the process - leading outwards to the following points:
A. Standlake:
1. High Street - to its junction with the A415 Abingdon Road,
2. The Downs - to a point 110 metres northwest of Church Farm Close,
3. Rack End - to a point 560 metres southeast of The Green.
B. Brighthampton:
1. B4449 Aston Road - to a point 360 metres southwest of the A415 Witney Road.
The existing 30mph speed limit remains on the A415 Abingdon/Witney Road running through the village, and on the northern part of The Downs (including those roads leading off) with Officers having taken the current road environment & traffic usage into account. The existing 50mph speed limits on the A415 will also remain unaffected by these proposals. The Oxfordshire County Council (Standlake Parish) (Restricted Roads) Order 2001 is revoked/replaced.

(ELSFIELD PARISH) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 20**
NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order - in support of road safety issues - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit within Elsfield, replacing the existing 30mph speed limit in its entirety in the process as follows: ? The unnamed road between the B4027 and the B4150 - between its junction with the access to 'Hill Farm House' at the southern end & a point 40 metres southeast of its junction with the access to 'Forest Farmhouse' to the north. The Oxfordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Elsfield Parish) Order 1999 will be revoked/replaced as necessary. (FARINGDON) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that on 6 November 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The orders, which come into force on 13 November introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Faringdon, replacing the majority of the previous 30mph speed limit within the residential area, leading out of the town to the following points:
1. A4095 Radcot Road - a point 83 metres north of Church Street,
2. A417 Lechlade Road - a point 20 metres northwest of Wood View,
3. A417 Park Road - its junction with Marlborough Close
4. B4019 Highworth Road - a point 196 metres northwest of Westland Road,
5. Coxwell Road - a point 45 metres south of its junction with Fernham Road
6. Fernham Road - its junction with the A420 Oxford-Swindon Road,
7. London Street - a point 98 metres northeast of Sudbury Court,
8. Stanford Road - a point 47 metres southeast of Nursery View. Existing 30mph speed limits will also remain as 'buffer limits' on Coxwell Road, A417 Lechlade Road, and A417 Park Road.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Faringdon) (Speed Limits) Order 2022 is revoked/replaced.
