THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (B6179 LITTLE EATON TO
ALFRETON AND ADJACENT ROADS) (30MPH, 40MPH AND 50MPH
SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2023
Derbyshire County Council hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, in respects of roads in the District of Amber Valley:
30MPH SPEED LIMIT
B6179 (Derby Road) in the Parish of Horsley
From a point 179 metres south of its junction with Tants Meadow in a northerly direction to a point 895 metres south-west of its junction with the A609.
40MPH SPEED LIMIT
B6179 (Derby Road) in the Parishes of Horsley and Kilburn
From a point 553 metres south-west of its junction with the A609 in a south -westerly direction to a point 895 metres south-west of that same junction.
50MPH SPEED LIMIT
B6179 (Derby Road) in the Parishes of Horsley and Kilburn
From a point 553 metres south-west of its junction with the A609 in a north-easterly direction to a point 153 metres south-west of that same junction.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Councils principal offices known as County Hall, Smedley Street, Matlock during opening hours and on request by emailing Place.permanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk or calling 01629 538674 until 6 weeks after the Order is made and at Belper Library, Derwent Street, Belper DE56 1UQ during opening hours.
All objections and other representations to the proposal must (a) be in writing (b) state the grounds on which it is made and (c) provide a name and address for contact purposes (d) be sent to the Executive Director – Place, Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock DE4 3AG (For Attention of Traffic and Safety Team quoting reference Z3417) or email Place.permanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk by Friday 1st December 2023.
