Stanton Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
STANTON ROAD, ILKESTON
WHEN: 13th November 2023 to 15th November 2023 (19:00 to 05:00 each night)
WHERE: Stanton Road, Ilkeston between the junction of 2nd Avenue and Stanley Street.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Stanton Road, White Lion Square, Nottingham Road, Thurman Street, Corporation Road, Longfield Lane, Hallam Fields Road, Crompton Road, Merlin Way, Quarry Hill Road, Little Hallam Hill, Lower Stanton Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
