Various Roads, Central Area, Bath - Prohibition And Restriction Of Parking And Loading

(VARIOUS ROADS, CENTRAL AREA, BATH) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF PARKING AND LOADING) (NO STOPPING ON ENTRANCE MARKINGS) (AUTHORISED AND DESIGNATED PARKING PLACES) (VARIATION NO.3) (ORDER 2023)

NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Bath and North East Somerset Council has made an order under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will introduce the following variations to restrictions in Central Area, Bath:-

1. Introduce No Parking At Any Time in lengths of Trim Street, Bathwick Hill, St Ann’s Way, Pulteney Road, Avon Street, Green Park Mews, Bath.
2. Introduce No Waiting/No Loading At Any Time in lengths of Terrace Walk, Avon Street and Royal Crescent, Bath.
3. Introduce No Waiting/No Loading between 9.30am - 7pm in lengths of Terrace Walk, Bath.
4. Introduce Central Permit Holder Only parking in lengths of Upper Hedgemead Road, Bath.
5. Introduce Zone 2 Permit Holder Only parking in lengths of Pulteney Road, Bath.
6. Introduce dual use Zone 5/2 Hour Limited Waiting in lengths of Lower Bristol Road, Bath.
7. Introduce a Goods Vehicles Loading Only bay in lengths of Milk Street, Royal Victoria Park and Avon Street, Bath.
8. Introduce a Loading bay in lengths of Royal Victoria Park, Bath.
9. Reduce No Parking At Any Time in lengths of Milk Street, Bath.
10. Introduce a 30 minute Coach Only parking bay in lengths of Avon Street and Pulteney Road, Bath.
11. Introduce dual use Central Permit Holder/Pay and Display parking in lengths of Monmouth Street, Bath.
12. Introduce Zone 2 Permit Holder Only parking in lengths of Broadway, Bath.
13. Introduce dual use Central Permit Holder/3 Hours Limited Waiting, 8am - 7pm in lengths of Brock Street, Bath.
14. Extension of No Parking Between 8am - 6pm in lengths of St John’s Road, Bath.
15. Introduce dual use Zone A Permit Holders/2 Hour Limited Waiting in lengths of Bathwick Hill, Bath.

The order will come into operation on 20th November 2023. Full details of the proposal together with a map and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for making the order may be inspected at the One Stop Shops at Manvers Street, Bath, The Hollies, High Street, Midsomer Norton and at the Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham during normal office hours. Any person who desires to question the validity of, or any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
