(Hammond Street, Richmond Hill, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for works to lay ducts, Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Hammond Street, Richmond Hill, Leeds in the Burmantofts & Richmond Hill Ward at its junction with South Accommodation Road. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on 18th November 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Yorkshire Water works, Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Southgate, Oulton, Leeds in the Rothwell Ward at its junction with Green Lea. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on 20 November 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (holding of Morley Cricket Club – Bonfire Night), Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is as follows: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or park in the following locations at any time when coning is in place: 1. Scatcherd Lane, Morley from its junction with Worral Street to its junction with Queens Road. The Order is intended to operate on: a. Friday 3 November 2023, from 17:00 hours until 23:59 hours. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure for gas main replacement.) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Hallfield Lane, Wetherby, Leeds in the Wetherby Ward between its junctions with Hallfield Lane and York Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Hallfield Lane, Walton Road, Privas Way, Boston Road, High Street, North Street, York Road and vice versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure required for Northern Gas Network works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Hetton Road, Roundhay, Leeds in the Gipton & Harehills Ward at its junction with Amberton Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Amberton Road, Lawrence Road, Easterly Road. Hetton Road, Easterley Road, Foundry Avenue, Amberton Road. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 27th November 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure for gas mains replacement.) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Marshall Street, Holbeck, Leeds in the Beeston & Holbeck Ward between its junctions with Sweet Street and Jack Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:Sweet Street, Meadow Road, Dewsbury Road, Jack Lane. Jack Lane, Meadow Road, Sweet Street. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for gas mains replacement works, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be as follows: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for LV Cable overlay, Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Back Savile Road, Chapeltown, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Savile Road, Mexborough Place, Savile Drive and vice versa. Town Police Clauses Act 1847 Section 21 Armistice Day & Remembrance Sunday Parades & Services (Temporary Prohibition and Restriction of Traffic) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council has today made an Order under Town Police Clauses Act 1847 Section 21. The effect of the Order is that the roads or parts of roads in the locations specified in the Schedule hereto will be closed to vehicles between the hours specified to facilitate crowd control for Armistice Day and the Remembrance Sunday Parades and services on Saturday 11 November & Sunday 12 November 2023.

Back Wood Lane Footpath, Rothwell, Leeds (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of footpath excavation and link box installation, Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is as follows:- No person shall proceed along Back Wood Lane footpath, Rothwell, Leeds, from number 130 Wood Lane for a distance of approximately 20m to number 140 Wood Lane. The Order is intended to operate from 9 November 2023 between 8am and 4pm and will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Definitive Bridleway Great and Little Preston 26, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of works being carried out to repair the above, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be as follows:- No person shall walk or proceed on or with a horse along the following: 1. Definitive Bridleway Great and Little Preston 26, Leeds from the rear of St Aidens RSPB. The Order is intended to operate from: a. 18 November 2023 until 1 December 2023; between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30 each day. (Ref: TC10062.) Leeds City Council (Traffic Regulation) (Speed Limit) (No.16) Order 2023 Proposed 20mph Zone Birchwood Hill, Alwoodley Ward

Leeds City Council proposes to make the above Order under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce:-

1. 20MPH Speed Limit on the entire lengths of:- Birchwood Hill; and Birchwood Mews.

Full details of the proposals in the form of draft Orders together with plans showing the affected lengths of highway and statement of reasons for making the Orders are available on request by e-mailing legal.development@leeds.gov.uk.
