What is happening?

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, PARKING, WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING) (TTO2233) ORDER 2023 (ROCHFORD ROAD/KINGS ROAD)
Notice is given that the Southend-on-Sea City Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has proposed to make the above Order. The effect of the Order will be as follows:
that the Southend-on-Sea City Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has proposed to make the above Order. The effect of the Order will be as follows:
1. Telelinkinfra on behalf of City Fibre will be completing the following:
- On Rochford Road; a road crossing and connections to existing infrastructure.
- On Kings Road following an agreement to reinstate full width on Section 58 in the carriageway.
2. The effect of the Order will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic, parking, waiting, loading and unloading at all locations effected by the proposed works which are listed in Table 1 to this Notice; diversions will be signed as specified in Table 1 to this Notice and on site.
3. The Order and prohibitions will come into effect on 14th November 2023 and is due to be complete by 18th November 2023; however, this Order may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed and will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs.
4. Access for emergency vehicles, vehicles being used in connection with the works, will be maintained during the closure.
5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.
