D3448 Coleford Bridge Road, Mytchett Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 07 November 2023 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to: - 1. Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the southbound carriageway to D3448 Coleford Bridge Road, Mytchett that extends from the A331 Blackwater Valley Road offslip-road, for a distance of 80m in a south-eastward direction. 2. Suspend “The Surrey County Council D3448 Coleford Bridge Road, Mytchett Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022” in its entirety. This Traffic Order is required to enable BT Openreach to carry out ducting and/or cabling and/or poling and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9pm and 6am, within 1 night of the 6 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 November 2023. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times under direction of site operatives. Alternative route: - Rectory Road, Farnborough Road, Wellington Avenue, Aldershot High Street, Ash Road, Ash Street, Ash Church Road, Guildford Road, Ash Hill Road, Vale Road, Frimley Road, Mytchett Road and Coleford Bridge Road.
Pennypot Lane (D26) and Clappers Lane (D37) Chobham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 7 November 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in:- (a) the entire length of Pennypot Lane (D26) Chobham. Alternative Route – A319 Bagshot Road and; (b) the entire length of Clappers Lane (D37) Chobham. Alternative Route – C11 Beldam Bridge Road, C11 Scotts Grove Road, C11 Castle Grove Road, A3046 High Street and A319 Bagshot Road or vice versa.
This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate speed limit installation works and/or maintenance works, which is anticipated to be carried out between 7am and 7pm, as soon as possible within the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence 13 November 2023. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road including access by emergency vehicles to these properties will be maintained, if necessary via the signed diversion route. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
