Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
A225 HIGH STREET, SEVENOAKS. TN13 1JD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A225 High Street, Sevenoaks from 20.00hrs on 17th November 2023, with estimated completion by 17.00hrs on 19th November 2023 or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 40.
The alternative route is via A225 High Street, A224 London Road/Tubs Hill/Amherst Hill, A25 Worships Hill/Westerham Road, A21 Sevenoaks Bypass, A225 Riverhill/Tonbridge Road/High Street and vice versa.
BOWER LANE, EYNSFORD, DA4 0HN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of drainage kerbing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bower Lane, Eynsford, on or after 1st December 2023 for up to 2 days between 08.30hrs and 16.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed opposite Park House Farm.
The alternative route is via Bower Lane, Birchin Cross Road, Row Dow, Pilgrims Way East, A225 Shoreham Road/Station Road/High Street and vice versa.
BRADBOURNE ROAD, SEVENOAKS. TN13 3PY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bradbourne Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 30th November 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 66.
The alternative route is via Bradbourne Road, Camden Road, St Johns Road, Amherst Road and vice versa.
BRITTAINS LANE, SEVENOAKS, TN13 2NF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Brittains Lane, Sevenoaks, on or after 13th November 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 14.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Lismoyne.
The alternative route is via Brittains Lane, A224 Amherst Hill/London Road/Tubs Hill/High Street, Oak Lane and vice versa.
EYNSFORD ROAD, CROCKENHILL, BR8 8LB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Eynsford Road, Crockenhill, on or after 13th November 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Goosehill Farm.
The alternative route is via Eynsford Road, Wested Lane, B2173 London Road/High Street, B258 Goldsel Road/Green Court Road/Broadway, Main Road and vice versa.
GALLOWS WOOD, FAWKHAM, DA3 8NE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Gallows Wood, Fawkham, on or after 16th November 2023 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Woodlands.
The alternative route is via Rogers Wood Lane and vice versa.
HEAVERHAM ROAD, KEMSING. TN15 6NH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Heaverham Road, Kemsing, on or after 27th November 2023 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 2 Walnut Tree Cottage.
The alternative route is via Watery Lane, Fullers Hill, Noah’s Ark, St Ediths Road, High Street, Heaverham Road and vice versa.
HIGH STREET, OTFORD, TN14 5PQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow a craft market and Christmas fair with seasonal attractions, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Street, Otford.
A closure is planned between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs on 18th November 2023.
High Street will be closed between Duck Pond Roundabout and Otford Village Car Park.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A225 Sevenoaks/Otford Road, A25 Bradbourne Vale Road/Maidstone Road, A224 London Road, Pilgrims Way West and vice versa.
HILLINGDON AVENUE, SEVENOAKS, TN13 3PE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of South East Water, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hillingdon Avenue, Sevenoaks, on or after 16th November 2023 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 4A.
The alternative route is via Hillingdon Avenue, B2019 Seal Hollow Road, Bayham Road, Quakers Hall Lane, A225 St Johns Hill, A25 Seal Road and vice versa.
MAGPIE BOTTOM & BIRCHIN CROSS ROAD, KNATTS VALLEY, TN15 6XS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Magpie Bottom and Birchin Cross Road, Knatts Valley, on or after 16th November 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The roads will be closed between Goodbury Road and Bracken.
The alternative route is via Bower Lane, A225 High Street/Station Road/Shoreham Road, Fackenden Lane, Magpie Bottom and vice versa and for Birchin Cross Road is via Row Dow Lane and Magpie Bottom.
MANOR LANE, FAWKHAM, DA3 8NB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Manor Lane, Fawkham, on or after 14th November 2023 for up to 2 days between 08.00hrs and 16.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed adjacent to North Lodge.
The alternative route is via Manor Lane, Valley Road, Fawkham Road, B260 Main Road, Hartley Road, Ash Road, Chapel Wood Road, West Yoke and vice versa.
MAPLETON ROAD, FOUR ELMS. TN8 6PN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mapleton Road, Four Elms, on or after 29th November 2023 for up to 2 days between 08.00hrs and 16:00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed approximately 245m SE from the junction with Puddledock Lane.
The alternative route is via Mapleton Road, B2026 Hosey Common Road/Main Road, B269 Spout Lane/Pootings Road and vice versa.
MUSSENDEN LANE, HORTON KIRBY. DA4 9JN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mussenden Lane, Horton Kirby, on or after 27th November 2023 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Barn.
The alternative route is via Mussenden Lane, Lombard Street, School Lane, Three Gates Road and vice versa.
POUNDSBRIDGE, PENSHURST TN11 8AL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Poundsbridge, Penshurst, on or after 29th November 2023 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Poundsbridge Manor and Barnfield.
The alternative route is via B2176 Penshurst Road, Speldhurst Hill, Barden Road, Poundsbridge Lane and vice versa.
PHILPOTS LANE, LEIGH, TN11 8PG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Philpots Lane, Leigh, on or after 15th November 2023 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Green Acres.
The alternative route is via Philpots Lane, Rings Hill, B2027 Stocks Green Road/Hildenborough Road/High Street/Penshurst Road/Tonbridge Road, Camp Hill, Coppings Road and vice versa.
SCABHARBOUR ROAD, HILDENBOROUGH. TN11 8PJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Scabharbour Road, Hildenborough, on or after 27th November 2023 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Priory Farm Cottage.
The alternative route is via Scabharbour Road, Philpots Lane, Watts Cross Road, B245 London Road, A225 Weald Interchange, Morleys Road and vice versa.
SHACKLANDS ROAD, SHOREHAM, TN14 7TT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Shacklands Road, Shoreham, on or after 16th November 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Chelsfield Lane and High Street.
The alternative route is via High Street, Filston Lane, Pilgrims Way West, Pilgrims Way Link Bridge, A224 Polhill/London Road, Badgers Mount Roundabout, Shacklands Road and vice versa.
