TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH MUCH HADHAM 20
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has extended, with consent of the Secretary of State, the Order which was made under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. To prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Much Hadham 20, foot bridge, for an approximate distance of 20 metres. Alternative route: via Much Hadham 21 and Church Lane The purpose of the Order is to enable bridge replacement works to take place. The section of Footpath will continue to be closed for up to 6 months until 8 May 2024 or completion of the works whichever is sooner. TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BRIDLEWAY THORLEY 27
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has extended, with consent of the Secretary of State, the Order which was made under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. To prohibit pedestrians, horseriders, and cyclists from using that length of Bridleway Thorley 27, heading west to junction with Thorley 35, for an approximate distance of 80 metres. Alternative route: via Thorley 14&15 The purpose of the Order is to enable bridge replacement works to take place. The section of Bridleway will continue to be closed for up to 18 months until 8 May 2025 or completion of the works whichever is sooner. (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN SAWBRIDGEWORTH AND HIGH WYCH) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following length of road, except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these length of road whilst works are in progress:- a) that length of West Road, Sawbridgeworth from its junction with A1184 London Road north westwards to its junction with Giffin Way, a distance of approximately 686m.
An alternative route will be via A1184 (London Road/Harlow Road), High Wych Lane, Beanfield Road and West Road.
2. The existing 7.5 tonne weight restriction on that length of West Road, Sawbridgeworth from its junction with Beanfield Road eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 800m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to use this length of road, whilst works are in progress
3. The existing 7.5 tonne weight restriction on that length of High Wych Road, High Wych/Sawbridgeworth from its junction with High Wych Lane eastwards to its junction with A1184 Harlow Road, a distance of approximately 1301m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to use this length of road, whilst works are in progress.
4. The existing 7.5 tonne weight restriction on that length of High Wych Lane/Beanfield Road, High Wych from its junction with High Wych Road north westwards, north eastwards and northwards to its junction with West Road, a distance of approximately 1276m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to use this length of road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTPATH SITUATED ON THE
NORTH SIDE OF NO.33 PARKWAY, SAWBRIDGEWORTH) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath situated on the north side of No.33 Parkway, Sawbridgeworth from its junction with Parkway south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 53m (“the Footpath”). An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south east side of Parkway, the footway situated on the north west side of Elmwood and the footpath situated on the north side of No.46 Elmwood. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footpath. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 November 2023 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footpath. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROCHFORD ROAD, BISHOPS STORTFORD)
ORDER NO.2 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Rochford Road, Bishops Stortford from a point 20 metres south west of its junction with Prestwick Drive south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via Rochford Road, Manston Drive and Rochford Road. The Order is needed because electrical connection works are proposed to be executed near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 6 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
