HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE BUS/CYCLE LANE SITUATED ON THE NORTH WEST SIDE OF A412 ST ALBANS ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all public service vehicles and pedal cycles from using the bus/cycle lane situated on the north west side of A412 St Albans Road, Watford from a point 137m south west of its junction with A41 The Dome Roundabout north eastwards for a distance of approximately 87m ("the Bus/Cycle Lane").

An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road. The definition of a 'public service vehicle' has the same meaning as in Section 1 of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981. The definition of a 'pedal cycle' means a cycle powered only by foot or hand. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Bus/Cycle Lane.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Bus/Cycle Lane. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LEGGATTS RISE, WATFORD) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Leggatts Rise, Watford from its junction with Rushton Avenue south eastwards for its entire length ("the Road").

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because telecoms maintenance works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SHEPHERDS LANE, RICKMANSWORTH/CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Shepherds Lane, Rickmansworth/Chorleywood from its junction with Chiltern Drive north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Stag Lane, a distance of approximately 1419m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Shepherds Lane, Church Lane, A412 (Uxbridge Road/ Denham Way), Long Lane and Stag Lane.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTPATH FRONTING NOS.269-273 BOUNDARY WAY AND THE FOOTPATH SITUATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF NO.267 BOUNDARY WAY, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the following lengths of footpath ("the Footpaths"):-

1. the footpath fronting Nos.269-273 Boundary Way, Abbots Langley from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.267 Boundary Way south eastwards for a distance of approximately 12m.

An alternative route will be via the footpath fronting Nos.269-273 Boundary Way, the footpath situated on the east side of Nos.269-273 Boundary Way, the footway situated on the south side of Nos.269-273 Boundary Way and the footpath situated on the east side of No.267 Boundary Way.

2. the footpath situated on the east side of No.267 Boundary Way, Abbots Langley from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.267 Boundary Way south westwards for a distance of approximately 26m.

An alternative route will be via the footpath fronting Nos.269-273 Boundary Way, the footpath situated on the east side of Nos.269-273 Boundary Way and the footway situated on the south side of Nos.269-273 Boundary Way. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footpaths.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footpaths. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF COLDHARHOUR LANE, BUSHEY) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Coldharhour Lane, Bushey from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.85 Coldharbour Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 48m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Coldharbour Lane, Little Bushey Lane, Chiltern Avenue and Coldharbour Lane. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 23 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-

1. that length of California Lane, Bushey Heath from its junction with Giant Tree Hill north westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 30m.

An alternative route will be via California Lane, A4140 High Road, Hartsbourne Road and California Lane.

2. that length of Giant Tree Hill, Bushey Heath from its junction with California Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 27m.

An alternative route will be via California Lane, A4140 High Road, Warren Road, Beamish Drive and Giant Tree Hill or via California Lane, Hartsbourne Road, A4140 High Road, Warren Road, Beamish Drive and Giant Tree Hill.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A41 Elton Way, Bushey from a point 63m south east of its junction with the B462 Hartsping Lane roundabout south eastwards for a distance of approximately 82m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A41 (Elton Way/North Western Avenue), A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Waterfields Way/Lower High Street/Chalk Hill/ London Road/High Street/Sparrows Herne/Elstree Road) and A41 (Tylers Way/ Elton Way) or via A41 (Elton Way/Tylers Way), A411 (Elstree Road/Sparrows Herne/High Street/ London Road/Chalk Hill), A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road/ Lower High Street/Dalton Way/Waterfields Way/Stephenson Way) and A41 (Otterspool Way/Elton Way).

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Highwoodhall Lane, Pimlico from its junction with Bedmond Road south westwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF THE EXISTING BUS LANE ORDER ON THE NORTH SIDE OF STATION ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to temporarily suspend the existing Bus Lane Order on the north side of Station Road, Watford from a point 28m south east of its junction with Bridle Path north westwards for a distance of approximately 78m ("the Road"), to enable all vehicles to use this length of Road, whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because ground radar survey works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 21 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Solesbridge Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Sarratt Lane south westwards, westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 599m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Solesbridge Lane, Sarratt Road, The Green, A412 (Scots Hill/Park Road), A404 (Chorleywood Road/Rickmansworth Road) and Solesbridge Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN THE GARDENS, WATFORD AND BIRKDALE GARDENS, SOUTH OXHEY) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of The Gardens, Watford from its junction with Woodland Drive south westwards to its junction with Cassiobury Drive, a distance of approximately 211m.

An alternative route will be via Woodland Drive, Stratford Way and Cassiobury Drive.

2. that length of Birkdale Gardens, South Oxhey from its junction with B4542 Prestwick Road south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Fairfield Avenue, a distance of approximately 308m.

An alternative route will be via B4542 Prestwick Road and Fairfield Avenue. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Thrift Farm Lane, Borehamwood from its junction with B5378 Shenley Road south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Nicholas Hawksmoor Drive, a distance of approximately 81m ("the Road"), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sydney Road, Watford from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.30 Sydney Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 35m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Sydney Road, Hagden Lane, Whippendell Road and Sydney Road.

The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 6 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. An alternative route will be via York Way, The Gossamers and Phillipers.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Park Avenue, Bushey from its junction with the Bushey Mill Lane roundabout south westwards to its junction with Mead Way, a distance of approximately 630m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Bushey Mill Lane and Mead Way. The Order is needed because street lighting works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD DURING THE 'CASSIOBURY PARK FIREWORKS DISPLAY') ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicles from waiting, loading and unloading at any time on both sides of the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), whilst signs are in place:-

1. that length of Cassiobury Park Avenue, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road north westwards to its junction with Gade Avenue, a distance of approximately 1014m.

2. that length of Coningesby Drive, Watford from its junction with Langley Way north westwards for its entire length.

3. that length of Gade Avenue, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road north westwards and north eastwards for its entire length.

4. that length of Langley Way, Watford from its junction with the Cassiobury Drive roundabout south westwards to its junction with Parkside Drive, a distance of approximately 379m.

5. that length of Oak View, Watford from its junction with Gade Avenue westwards, north eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.

6. that length of Metropolitan Station Approach, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 256m.

7. that length of Parkside Drive, Watford from its junction with Langley Way south eastwards to its junction with The Gardens, a distance of approximately 500m.

8. that length of Shepherds Road, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road north westwards for its entire length.

9. that length of Swiss Avenue, Watford from its junction with Gade Avenue north eastwards to its junction with Cassiobury Park Avenue, a distance of approximately 318m.

10. that length of Swiss Close, Watford from its junction with Swiss Avenue north westwards and clockwise for its entire length.

The Order is needed to ensure public safety and prevent traffic congestion for the duration of the 'Cassiobury Park Fireworks Display'. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 4 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
