What is happening?

Essex County Council

(Remote Footway - Mill Park Drive, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order: To temporarily close the following length of remote footway, Mill Park Drive in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Bamboo Crescent for approximately 61 metres, west, to the edge of new play area.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 06 November 2023 to 31 January 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while the installation of the new play area is undertaken.

The alternative route will be via Bamboo Crescent, Mill Park Drive, footpath between No 217 and 225, then across the park to the remote footway Mill Park Drive and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 06 November 2023 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Bocking End, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bocking End, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 50m north east of its junction with Rayne Road for a distance of approximately 135m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th November 2023 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA18097715359 - Gigaclear).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Gigaclear.

An alternative route is available via Courtauld Road, Coggeshall Road - Railway Street Junction, Railway Street, South Street, St Michaels Road, High Street, Pierrefitte Way, Rayne Road, Bocking End or Courtauld Road, Coggeshall Road and Rayne Road with access only into Bocking End).

The Order will come into effect on 9th November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Old Road, Feering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Old Road, Feering in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 260m north east of its junction with Little Tey Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st December 2023 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03162848195/FH - Anglian Water).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Are hydrant repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Langley Green Road, Little Tey Road and vice versa (with access only into Old Road).

The Order will come into effect on 9th November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Street/Ashes Road, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street/Ashes Road, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Polecat Road for a distance of approximately 1215m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th November 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2351652 - Essex County Council).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Polecat Road, Witham Road, Braintree Road, Cressing Road, Cressing Road Roundabout, A120 J B1018 Roundabout, Long Green and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 9th November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ulting Road, Hatfield Peverel) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ulting Road, Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Green Close for a distance of approximately 580m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th November 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2347841 - Essex County Council).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Ulting Road, Nounsley Road, Mowden Hall Lane, London Road, The Street, Maldon Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 9th November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Coggeshall Road, Feering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coggeshall Road, Feering in the District of Braintree, from its junction with London Road to its junction with The Street a distance of approximately 520m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th November 2023 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT020-E-KEVEN-01 - Gigaclear).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear.

An alternative route is available via The Street, Hanover Bridge, New Lane, London Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 26th October 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Coldnailhurst Avenue, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coldnailhurst Avenue, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 25m north east of its junction with Lancaster Way for a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th November 2023 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001266979 - Cadent).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main connection works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Coldnailhurst Avenue, Lancaster Way, Bailey Bridge Road, Arnhem Grove and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 26th October 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Long Green, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Long Green, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 370m south east of its junction with Galleys Corner Roundabout for a distance of approximately 210m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th November 2023 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30038988332 - UK Power Networks).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via A120 J B1018 Roundabout, Galley Roundabout, Cressing Road, Braintree Bypass, Braintree Road, Witham Road, Temple Lane and vice versa (with access only into Long Green, Ashes Road, The Street and Church Road).

The Order came into effect on 26th October 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mill Lane, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Bulford Mill Lane to its junction with Jeffreys Road a distance of approximately 170m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th November 2023 for 18 days, or where stated on a valid permit (N5004P101794N0021306/ R19 - The Electricity Network Company Limited).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct installation works are undertaken by The Electricity Network Company Limited.

An alternative route is available via Braintree Road and vice versa (with access only into Mill Lane).

The Order came into effect on 26th October 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Priors Green, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Priors Green, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Kerami Lane for a distance of approximately 80m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th November 2023 for 1 night (17:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (AD03061882029-01 - Anglian Water).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while meter exchange works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Water Lane, Back Lane, Greenstead Green Road, Tumblers Green and vice versa (with access only into Rectory Road, Madgements Road and Priors Green).

The Order came into effect on 26th October 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Spains Hall Road, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spains Hall Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Duck End for a distance of approximately 50m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th November 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03162771354 - Anglian Water).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while air valve replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Tinkers Green Road, Cornish Hall End, Little London Hill, Howe Street, Duck End and vice versa (with access only into Spains Hall Road).

The Order came into effect on 26th October 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Station Road, Kelvedon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Kelvedon in the District of Braintree, from its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 90m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th November 2023 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010743846 - Anglian Water).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via A120, Prince of Wales Roundabout, A12, B1024 and vice versa (with access only into Station Road, Coggeshall Road, Kelvedon Road, Grange Hill and Bridge Street).

The Order came into effect on 26th October 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
