ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A452 BRIDGE STREET, NEW STREET, HIGH STREET & FIELDGATE LANE, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Bridge Street and Fieldgate Lane closed between Pears Close and Fancott Drive, New Street closed between Bridge Street/Fieldgate Lane and the entrance of The Cross PH car park and High Street closed between Bridge Street/Fieldgate Lane and Monmouth Close.

In addition, the One-Way traffic flow on Fieldgate Lane from High Street/New Street to Upper Spring Lane will be temporarily suspended.

Reason for Order: Closures to enable carriageway reconstruction and associated works, 09.00hrs-15.00hrs. Suspension of One-Way to enable access for residents and businesses of Fieldgate Lane.

Order Commences: 6 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 9 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: New Street to High Street (reverse applies) via Upper Spring Lane, Beehive Hill, Clinton Lane, Castle Hill, High Street. New Street to Bridge Street (reverse applies) via Upper Spring Lane, Beehive Hill, Clinton Lane, Castle Road, Borrowell Lane, The Square, Abbey Hill, Bridge Street. Fieldgate Lane – Access/Egress via Upper Spring Lane or Beehive Hill only. Access/Egress will be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only.

BEAUCHAMP AVENUE, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed between its junction with Clarendon Square. Reason for Order: Excavation and laying new service from main in carriageway.

Order Commences: 6 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 10 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: Clarendon Square, Clarendon Avenue and vice versa. Contractor: Headway Traffic Management, Tel: 01564 820 118.

CHAPEL STREET, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed from junction with Smith Street.

Reason for Order: Installation of new water connection from mains.

Order Commences: 8 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 10 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: Chapel Street, Priory Road, St Nicholas Church Street, Castle Hill, Smith Street.

CHESFORD CRESCENT, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed between junction with Greville Road.

Reason for Order: Installation of new water connection from mains in footpath.

Order Commences: 6 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 8 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: Chesford Crescent, Greville Road and vice versa.

D46940 FRANKLIN ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed between the junctions of Landor Road and Moorhill Road.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs-15.00hrs.

Order Commences: 9 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 15 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: Landor Road, Moorhill Road and vice versa.

NEW STREET, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed from junction with High Street to Price Road.

Reason for Order: To safely enable remedial works in carriageway.

Order Commences: 5 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 5 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: New Street, Cross Lane, Offchurch Road, Queen Street, High Street and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH AT MARNE CLOSE, WARWICK

Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic.

Reason for Order: Essential gas works and mains installation.

Order Commences: 6 November 2023 for up to 6 months.

Anticipated Completion: 18 December 2023.

Access & Diversion: Marne Close, Campriano Drive, Wharf Street and vice versa.

ROUNCIL LANE, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Road closed between Bannerhill Farm and Roundshill Farm.

Reason for Order: Excavation and trenching in carriageway.

Order Commences: 8 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 13 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: Dirty Lane, School Lane, Haseley Knob Road, A4177 Honiley Road, A4177 Birmingham Road, A46 Warwick Bypass, Warwick Road and vice versa.

GUY STREET, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Coten End to a point outside property number 2. In addition, the One-Way traffic follow on Guy Street and Guys Cliffe Terrace will be temporarily suspended.

Reason for Order: To enable works to clear blockages in carriageway.

Order Commences: 6 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 8 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: Coten End, Wharf Street, Broad Street, Guys Cliffe Terrace, Guy Street.

PRIORY MEWS, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to all traffic from its junction with Cape Road.

Reason for Order: To avoid the likelihood of danger to the public as a result of carriageway subsidence.

Order Commences: 9 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Access & Diversion: There is no alternative route available.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

BISHOPS CLOSE, BISHOPS TACHBROOK

Order Effect: Road closed between its junction with Church Hill.

Reason for Order: Provide cabling for customer connection.

Order Commences: 20 November 2023 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 20 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: No diversion applicable.

C33 HUNNINGHAM ROAD (MAIN STREET) AND E2987  EATHORPE FIELDS ROAD, HUNNINGHAM

Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as indicated follows: Hunningham Road (Main Street) closed between its junction with Hill Road and the entrance to the Red Lion public house, Eathorpe Fields Road closed in its entirety from its junction with Hunningham Road.

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works in phases as follows: Friday 24/11/23, 08.00hrs-17.00hrs; Sunday 26/11/23, 09.00hrs-17.00hrs. No Saturday working.

Order Commences: 24 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 26 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: For Hunningham Road an alternative route will be signed and is available via Hunningham Road, B4453 Leamington Road, A423 Oxford Road, B4455 Fosse Way, Hunningham Road and vice versa. However, there is no suitable diversion whilst Eathrorpe Fields Road is closed.

D28010 ANDERSON DRIVE, WHITNASH

Order Effect: Road closed between junctions of Normanby Meadows and Coppice Road.

Reason for Order: Structural carriageway patching works, closed 08.00hrs16.00 hrs.

Order Commences: 17 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 17 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: Coppice Road, Erica Drive, Villebon Way, Anderson Drive and vice versa. Limited access to Bolyfant Crescent, Hughes Close, Dawson Close and Crutchely Way.

D4202 MONKS WAY/ABBOTS WAY, WARWICK

Order Effect: Roads closed in its entirety from its junction with Crompton Street.

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing works, closed 09.00hrs15.30 hrs.

Order Commences: 21 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 24 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion.

D70850 BROOKE ROAD, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Road closed between the junction of Windy Arbour and Eden Croft.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.

Order Commences: 20 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 20 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: Brooke Road, Ashfield Road, Thornby Avenue, Windy Arbour and vice versa.

NEW STREET, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed between junction with Old Square and Market Place.

Reason for Order: Repairs to defect from previous works.

Order Commences: 19 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 19 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: Old Square, New Bridge Street, Theatre Street, Bowling Green Street, High Street, Swan Street, Market Place and vice versa.

SPENCER’S YARD, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed between its junction with Spencer Street.

Reason for Order: Construction works and installation of duct in carriageway.

Order Commences: 20 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 22 November 2023.

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible. THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(DISTRICT OF WARWICK) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS, ON STREET PARKING PLACES AND RESIDENTS’ PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (VARIATION O) ORDER 2023/4

Warwickshire County Council propose to make the above named Order, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to vary the existing Warwickshire County Council (District of Warwick) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions, On-Street Parking Places And Residents’ Parking) (Consolidation) Order 2017, as described (by approximate measurements) in the Schedule below.

Exceptions to any waiting restrictions described in the Schedule below will permit waiting for the purposes of picking up and setting down passengers, loading and unloading goods, for vehicles displaying a disabled person’s badge and in connection with the maintenance of the road and the supply of gas, water or electricity.

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a copy of an Order to be varied, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order are available to view at Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick, and online on the Council’s website at https://www. warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district.

From a point 7 metres west of the junction with New Brook Street, in a westerly direction for a distance of 30 metres (which includes the revocation of existing limited waiting restrictions and L3 permit places in connection with the removal of the layby and widening of the footway).
