An order has been made to introduce the following restrictions in phases:
· Temporary one-way restriction on Westway, Barnsley between Townend Roundabout and Wellington Street, allowing traffic to travel from AlhambraRoundabout towards Townend Roundabout only on 6 November 2023 between 1900 and 2300 and 7 November 2023 between 1900 and 2300.

An alternative route is available via Alhambra Roundabout, Sheffield Road, Park Road, Keresforth Hill Road, Broadway, Dodworth Road, AlhambraRoundabout.
· Temporary one-way restriction on Wellington Street, Barnsley between Hope House Church and Westway allowing traffic to travel from Westway onto Wellington Street only on 7 November 2023 between 1900 and 2300. An alternative route is available via Wellington Street, New Street. This restriction will not be implemented at the same time as the New Street restriction below.

· Temporary one-way restriction on Westway between Upper New Street and Alhambra Roundabout, allowing traffic to travel from Alhambra Roundabout towards Townend Roundabout only on 7 November 2023.
· Temporary closure of New Street between Westway and Wellington Street on 7 November 2023 between 1900 and 2300. An alternative route is available via Wellington Street. This restriction will not be implemented at the same time as the Wellington Street above.
· Temporary one-way restriction on Westway, Barnsley between Alhambra Roundabout and Upper New Street, allowing traffic to travel from TownendRoundabout towards Alhambra Roundabout only on 8 November 2023 between 1900 and 2300. An alternative route is available via Alhambra Roundabout, Sheffield Road, Park Road, Keresforth Hill Road, Broadway, Dodworth Road, Townend Roundabout.
· Temporary closure of Upper New Street between Thomas Street and Westway on 9 November 2023 between 1900 and 2300. Access maintained for McDonald’s Restaurant entrance only. An alternative route is available via Wood Street, Union Street, Sheffield Road, Alhambra Roundabout, Westway.
· Temporary one-way restriction on Westway, Barnsley between Alhambra Roundabout and Townend Roundabout, allowing traffic to travel from Townend Roundabout towards Alhambra Roundabout only on 10 November between 1900 and 2300 2023. Access to New Street available from
the eastbound carriageway of Westway only. Exit from New Street available to the eastbound carriageway of Westway only. An alternative route is available Alhambra Roundabout, Sheffield Road, Park Road, Keresforth Hill Road, Broadway, Dodworth Road, Townend Roundabout.
