(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A507 STATION ROAD, BALDOCK) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A507 Station Road, Baldock from its junction with Icknield Way north westwards to its junction with Bygrave Road, a distance of approximately 180m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A507 Station Road, B656 (Whitehorse Street/Hitchin Street/ Letchworth Road/Baldock Road), A505 (Letchworth Gate/Baldock Bypass/Jacks Hill/High Street/Graveley Road), A602 (Wymondley Bypass/Stevenage Road/Park Way), A505 (Old Park Road/ Bedford Road), A600 (Bedford Road/Hitchin Road) and A507 (Arlesey Road/ unnamed road/Great North Road/North Road/Station Road) or via A507 (North Road/Great North Road/unnamed road/Arlesey Road), A600 (Hitchin Road/Bedford Road), A505 (Bedford Road/Paynes Park), A602 (Park Way/ Stevenage Road/Wymondley Bypass), A505 (Graveley Road/High Street/ Jacks Hill/Baldock Bypass/ Letchworth Gate), B656 (Baldock Road/ Letchworth Road/Hitchin Street/Whitehorse Street) and A507 Station Road.

The Order is needed because railway bridge inspection works are proposed to be executed near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN GREAT WYMONDLEY) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-

1. that length of Arch Road, Great Wymondley from its junction with Graveley Road south westwards to its junction with Hitchin Road, a distance of approximately 39m.

An alternative route will be via Willian Road, Wymondley Road, Willian Road, A505 Cambridge Road, B656 (Walsworth Road/Queen Road/Park Street/ Hitchin Hill), A602 Stevenage Road, Stevenage Road and Arch Road.

2. that length of Graveley Road, Great Wymondley from its junction with Arch Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m.

An alternative route will be via Arch Road, Stevenage Road, A602 (Stevenage Road/Wymondley Bypass), B197 (Graveley Road/High Street), Graveley Lane and Graveley Road.

3. that length of Hitchin Road, Great Wymondley from its junction with Arch Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 23m.

An alternative route will be via Arch Road, Stevenage Road, A602 Stevenage Road, B656 (Hitchin Hill/Park Street/Queen Street), Hollow Lane, Wymondley Road and Hitchin Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN ASHBROOK LANE, ST IPPOLYTS) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Ashbrook Lane, St Ippolyts from its junction with A602 Stevenage Road south westwards, southwards and south westwards to its junction with Hitchin Lane, a distance of approximately 745m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via A602 Stevenage Road and Hitchin Lane.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN LETCHWORTH GARDEN CITY, ST PAULS WALDEN, GREAT WYMONDLEY, GRAVELEY, KIMPTON, WHITWELL, HITCHIN, WILLIAN AND WALKERN) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-

1. that length of Bridge Road, Letchworth Garden City from its junction with Icknield Way south eastwards to its junction with Station Place, a distance of approximately 237m.

An alternative route will be via Icknield Way, Norton Way North, Station Road and Station Place.

2. that length of Church Lane, St Pauls Walden from its junction with B651 Whitwell Road north westwards for its entire length.

An alternative route will be via B651 Whitwell Road and Whitehouse Lane.

3. that length of Graveley Road, Great Wymondley from its junction with Arch Road south eastwards to its junction with Priory Lane, a distance of approximately 529m.

An alternative route will be via Arch Road, Stevenage Road and Priory Lane.

4. that length of Graveley Lane, Graveley from its junction with Priory Lane north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with B197 High Street, a distance of approximately 1434m.

An alternative route will be via Priory Lane, Stevenage Road and B197 (Graveley Road/High Street).

5. that length of Pams Lane, Kimpton from its junction with B652 High Street south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

6. that length of The Valley, Whitwell from its junction with B651 High Street north eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

7. that length of Westbury Place, Letchworth Garden City from its junction with Campers Road south eastwards to its junction with Campers Avenue, a distance of approximately 151m.

An alternative route will be via Campers Road, Springshott and Campers Avenue or via Campers Road, High Avenue and Campers Avenue.

8. that length of Willian Road, Hitchin/Letchworth Garden City/Willian and Baldock Lane, Willian from its junction with A505 Cambridge Road south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with A505 Letchworth Gate, a distance of approximately 3776m.

An alternative route will be via A505 (Cambridge Road/Hitchin Road/ Baldock Road/ Letchworth Gate).

9. that length of Winters Lane, Walkern from its junction with B1037 High Street south eastwards to its junction with Bassus Green Road, a distance of approximately 192m.

An alternative route will be via B1037 High Street, Church End, Bockings and Bassus Green Road or via B1037 High Street and Totts Lane. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SPERBERRY HILL, ST IPPOLYTS) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sperberry Hill, St Ippolyts from its junction with B656 London Road north eastwards, eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Folly Lane, a distance of approximately 418m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via B656 London Road, A602 Stevenage Road, Stevenage Road, Blakemore End Road, Stevenage Road and Sperberry Hill. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PRIORS HILL, PIRTON) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Priors Hill, Pirton from its junction with Danfield Road north westwards to its junction with Shillington Road, a distance of approximately 414m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via Priors Hill, Hitchin Road, Walnut Tree Road, Royal Oak Lane, West Lane and Shillington Road.

The Order is needed because carriageway planing and surfacing works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 21 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the service road fronting Nos.1-12 Baldock Lane, Willian from its easternmost junction with Baldock Lane north westwards, south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and south eastwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Baldock Lane.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via Pixmore Way and A505 Baldock Road or via Pixmore Way, Broadway and A505 (Hitchin Road/Baldock Road).

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Barley Mow Lane, Clothall from its junction with Clothall Public Footpath No.009 north westwards for a distance of approximately 250m ("the Road").

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

1. that length of Long Lane, Aston End from its westernmost junction with Tatlers Lane north eastwards to its junction with Lanterns Lane, a distance of approximately 370m.

An alternative route will be via Tatlers Lane and Long Lane.

2. that length of Caldecote Road, Newnham from its junction with Stotfold Road south eastwards to its junction with Ashwell Road, a distance of approximately 1257m.

An alternative route will be via Stotfold Road, A1 (unnamed road), Edworth Road, C184 (unnamed road), Edworth (unnamed road), High Street, Ashwell Road, Hinxworth Road, Newnham Road and Ashwell Road or via Ashwell Road, Newnham Road, Hinxworth Road, Ashwell Road, High Street, Edworth (unnamed road), A1 (London Road/(unnamed road) and Stotfold Road.

3. that length of Ashwell Road, Newnham/Newnham Road, Ashwell from its junction with Caldecote Road north eastwards to its junction with Hinxworth Road, a distance of approximately 2732m.

An alternative route will be via Caldecote Road, Stotfold Road, A1 (unnamed road), Edworth Road, C184 (unnamed road), Edworth (unnamed road), High Street, Ashwell Road and Hinxworth Road or via Hinxworth Road, Ashwell Road, High Street, Edworth (unnamed road), A1 (London Road/(unnamed road), Stotfold Road and Caldecote Road.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because carriageway and footpath resurfacing works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 6 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Aston Lane, Aston from its junction with Astonbury Lane north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Yeomans Drive, a distance of approximately 148m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Aston Lane, A602 Broadhall Way, Gresley Way, Broadwater Lane and Aston Lane. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 6 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
