ROTHERHAM METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PART OF PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO.16 HARTHILL SHEFFIELD (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS AND HORSE RIDERS)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made  an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian and  horse rider from proceeding along that part of Public Bridleway No.16 Harthill commencing from a point on Hard Lane opposite Northlands and proceeding in a westerly direction for 435m to a point at its junction with Public Footpath No.15 Harthill at Grid reference SK 4887 8138from Monday 6th. November until Monday 20th. November 2023.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for pedestrians and horse riders affected by the order.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the bridleway (Foul and surface water connections).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) AND 14(7) PART OF A631 BAWTRY ROAD BRECKS ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY 10 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT RESTRICTION)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an

Order the effect of which is to temporarily revoke part of The Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Speed Limits and Speed Derestriction) (Consolidation) Order 2004 and decrease the speed limit from 40 miles hour to 10 miles per hour for motor vehicles travelling along that part of A631 Bawtry Road, Brecks, eastbound only, from its junction with Brecks roundabout to the eastern kerb line of Beech Avenue from Monday 6th. November until Thursday 30th. November 2023 between 10pm and 4am.

The reason for the speed limit order is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Convoy working during resurfacing works). Dated this 2nd day of November 2023

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) AND 14(7) PART OF STAINTON LANE MALTBY ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY 40 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT RESTRICTION)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends

(not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily suspend part of The Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Speed

Derestriction) Order 1995 and to reduce from 60 miles per hour to 40 miles per hour the speed limit for motor vehicles travelling along that part of Stainton Lane from its junction with Grange Lane for a distance of approximately 200m in an easterly direction from Monday 13th. November until Friday 24th. November 2023.

The reason for the speed limit order is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Safety of site personnel during S50 works). Dated this 3rd. day of November 2023

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 16(A) AND 14(7) PART OF B6090 KILNHURST ROAD AND PART OF DENABY LANE HOOTON ROBERTS ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY 30 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT RESTRICTION)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an

Order the effect of which is to temporarily suspend part of The

Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Speed Limits and Speed Derestriction) (Consolidation) Order 2004 and reduce the speed limit from 60 miles hour to 30 miles per hour for motor vehicles travelling along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice on Saturday 4th November 2023 between 4pm and 11pm.

The reason for the speed limit order is because of the proposed special event on or near the roads (To facilitate traffic management of the Bonfire Event at Hooton Lodge).

SCHEDULE

(i)    B6090 Kilnhurst Road from its junction with Hooton Road to its junction with Carr Lane, Thrybergh.

(ii)   Denaby Lane from its junction with Kilnhurst Road for a distance of approximately 300m in a northerly direction.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PART OF MIDDLE AVENUE RAWMARSH ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends

(not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Middle Avenue from its junction with Monkwood Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction for periods of time between Saturday 11th. November and Friday 17th. November 2023.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Monkwood Road, Birchwood Avenue, Rosehill Road, Middle Avenue and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecom works).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PART OF OAKWOOD DRIVE AND PART OF BARROWBY ROAD BROOM ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice for periods of time between Wednesday 15th. November and Tuesday 28th. November 2023.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via local neighbouring streets.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or  are proposed to be executed on or near the two parts of road  (Telecom works).

SCHEDULE

1.     Oakwood Drive from its junction with Broom Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in an easterly direction.

2.     Barrowby Road from its junction with Broom Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PART OF EFFINGHAM SQUARE ROTHERHAM TOWN CENTRE (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Effingham Square from its junction with the slip road from Drummond Street for a distance of approximately 40m in a westerly direction from 10pm on Thursday 16th November until 5am on Friday 17th November 2023. Bus station access will not be affected.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the order.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Manhole investigation).
