Wilton Street, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Water Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL WILTON STREET, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Wilton Street, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Wilton Street to a point outside No.2 Wilton Street to the entrance of the car park at Wilton Street.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Wilton Street (unaffected section) Chester Street, Morley Street and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 19:00 hours on the 13th November 2023 and remain in force until 06:00 on the 14th November 2023 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months If necessary).
