THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL (CAMPSIE ROAD, KIRKINTILLOCH) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
On the 31 October 2023 the East Dunbartonshire
Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties and land adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on Campsie Road, Kirkintilloch, between its junction with the vehicular access to Royal Mail and the vehicular access to Hayston Golf Club, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
This Order will operate from 08.00 hours on Sunday, 12 November until 18.00 hours on Sunday, 19 November 2023.
Alternative Route
The alternative route for vehicles will be by way of Campsie Road, the B822 Campsie Road, the A891 Campsie Road in Lennoxtown and Milton of Campsie, the B757 Birdston Road in Milton of Campsie, the B757 Milton Road, the A803 Glasgow Road in Kirkintilloch, the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, the A807 Torrance Road, the B822 Main Street in Torrance, and these routes will be sign posted.
