The road is expected to be closed from the 6th November 2023 until the 17th November 2023 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is the later. GT/79993, Legal Services, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester GL1 2TG  Temporary Closure Of Public Footpath Fsb 37 (St Briavels Parish) Forest Of Dean District  Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) Public Footpath FSB 37 (part of the Offas Dyke National Trail)  St Briavels, from its junction with Public Footpath FSB 30 and then extends in a generally southerly direction for approximately 330 metres to its junction with Public Footpath FSB36  The Public Footpath falls within the Parish OF St Briavels in the Forest of Dean District and the County of Gloucestershire.  The closure is necessary to protect the public while urgent repairs are carried out on footpath steps that have collapsed causing the ground to become unsafe. The Order will commence on the 20th October 2023 and can remain in force for a period of six months from the date of this Notice.  After this date, if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
