What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ASHBY LANE, BITTESWELL TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 20/11/2023 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Harlaxton Engineering Services and associated contractors to undertake new Electric, Water and Gas connection works for a new development and various highway maintenance works.
The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: - Ullesthorpe Road, Mere Road, Bitteswell Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 21/11/23 and have a maximum duration of 1 month.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow STW and their contractors to undertake a water hydrant renewal.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 20/11/2023 and have a maximum duration of 12 months.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council safely undertake carriageway patching works and any other various Utility and highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion routes will be signed on site.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 06/11/2023 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. 
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 days. 
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow City Fibre to excavate and install new ducting and infrastructure.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 07/11/2023 until the 26/03/2024.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last until the 26/03/2024.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake repair and maintenance work in relation to a fallen fence. There is no available diversion route.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 06/11/2023 and have a maximum duration of 6 months
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 weeks. 
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council safely undertake carriageway maintenance works, traffic calming and any other various Utility and highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion routes will be signed on site.

Halstead Road – closed between the junction of Rothley Road and the junction of Walton Way. Walton Way – between Mountsorrel Lane and Halstead Road. Hawthorne Road – from its junction with Rothley Road to Laurel Road. Linden Grove, Ash Grove, Martin Avenue, Church Hill Road, Fort Road and Boundary Road – closed at their junctions with Halstead Road. West Cross Lane – closed between Walton Way and Baum Drive.

SCHEDULE 2
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME
Halstead Road - on both sides of the carriageway, between the junction of Rothley Road and the junction of Walton Way. Linden Grove – on both sides of the carriageway, from the junction of Halstead for 100 metres. Martin Avenue – on both sides of the carriageway, from the junction of Halstead Road for 100 metres. Church Hill Road – on both sides of the carriageway, from the junction of Halstead Road for 100 metres. Boundary Road – on both sides of the carriageway, from the junction of Halstead Road for 100 metres. Fort Road – on both sides of the carriageway, from the junction of Halstead Road for 100 metres. Hawthorne Road – on both sides of the carriageway, from the junction of Rothley Road to Laurel Close. West Cross Lane – both sides of the carriageway between Walton Way and Baum Drive.

The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 days.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 06/11/2023 and have a maximum duration of 6 months.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow City Fibre to excavate and install new infrastructure.
The proposed diversion route will be via: Wigston Road, Brabazon Road, Chestnut Avenue, Leicester Road, Oadby.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force 03/11/2023 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. 
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 months. 
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow MJ Evans acting on behalf of William Davis and their appointed contractors to undertake associated development works, utility connections and various highway maintenance & infrastructure improvement works. 
The proposed diversion route will be via: Ratby Lane & Desford Road, Kirby Muxloe and vice versa. During the closures, alternative routes available to all traffic can be viewed at https://one.network. and signed on site.

PALMERSTON ROAD (PART), MELTON MOWBRAY 
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC TEMPORARY IMPLEMENTATION OF ONE-WAY ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 08/11//2023 and have a maximum duration of 3 months.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 month. 
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow National Grid on behalf of Grace Homes to undertake installation of electricity supply for the new development and various related utility works and for Leicestershire County Council to undertake any highway maintenance works.
The proposed diversion route will be via Palmerston Road, Lynton Road, Brampton Road and vice versa.

SCHEDULE 1

Palmerston Road will be closed from the junction with Nottingham Road for approximately 10m.

SCHEDULE 2
TEMPORARY IMPLEMENTATION OF ONE WAY
Palmerston Road will be made a one way from Nottingham Road for approximately 10m.
