Swindon, Multiple Roads, Temporary Traffic Restrictions

SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ORDERS FOR TEMPORARY ROAD/ FOOTWAY AND CYCLEPATH CLOSURES

Notice is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL intend to make following orders:

(STR000749 KINGSHILL ROAD, SWINDON)

This Order is being introduced for urgent building works and will prohibit pedestrians from proceeding on Kingshill Road at the junction with Property No 86 Clifton Street, Swindon. Alternative Route - via Clifton Street The Order comes into the force on the 13 November 2023 for 6 months.

(STR000747 BARNFIELD ROAD CYCLEPATH, SWINDON)

This Order is introduced to allow for utilities work and will temporarily close the section of the cycle path between Barnfield Road and west of Mead Way. Alternative Route via Mead Way and Westmead Drive The Order comes into force on the 13 November 2023 for 6 months.

(STR000742 WOOD STREET AND VICTORIA ROAD, SWINDON)

This Order is being introduced for the Old Christmas Light Switch on Event and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Wood Street (entire length) and Victoria Road between Union Row and Bath Road. Traffic to be diverted via Groundwell Road, Drove Road, Cricklade Street and Newport Street. The Order comes into the force on the 26 November 2023 for 1 day only but the road closure will only be in place between 6pm and 9pm.

(STR000722 GREEN ROAD, UPPER STRATTON)

This Order is being introduced for foul water connection works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Green Road outside The Limes, 21 Green Road. Alternative Route - via Greenlands Road, Headlands Grove, A4311 Cricklade Road, Beechcroft Road, Dores Road and vice versa. The Order comes into the force on the 13 November 2023 for 6 months but works are expected to take place between 13 to 20 November 2023.
