Kent, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

Tonbridge and Malling Area

BELLS FARM ROAD, TONBRIDGE TN11 0JP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023
To allow pole installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Bells Farm Road, Tonbridge, on or after 22nd November 2023 for up to 2 days between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with Stanford Lane to outside Pond Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Bells Farm Road, Martins Lane, A228 Seven Mile Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A26 Maidstone Road, Stanford Lane, Bells Farm Road and vice versa.

BROOK STREET, SNODLAND ME19 5WP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023
To allow street lighting replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Brook Street, Snodland, on or after 25th November 2023 for up to 1 night between the hours of 22:00 and 02:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction with A228 Snodland By-pass to the roundabout, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Brook Street, Rocfort Road, A228 Snodland By-pass, A228 Holborough Road, Holborough Roundabout, A228 Holborough Road, back onto Rocfort Road, Brook Street and vice versa.

CHURCH ROAD, OFFHAM ME19 5NY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Church Road, Offham, on or after 24th November 2023 for up to 4 days between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction with North Meadow to outside St Micheals School, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Church Road, A20 London Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Teston Road, Church Road and vice versa.

EAST STREET, ADDINGTON ME19 5DE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023
To allow gas service works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of East Street, Addington, on or after 20th November 2023 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Little Orchard, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for this closure, due to the road being a dead-end. However, residential access will be mainatined at all times, when it is safe to do so.

LOWER WARREN ROAD, AYLESFORD ME20 7EF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023
To allow electrical connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Lower Warren Road, Aylesford, on or after 6th November 2023 for up to 11 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with Rochester Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for traffic travelling west is via Lower Warren Road, Warren Road, Maidstone Road, A229 Bluebell Hill Slip Link Bridge Chatham, A229 Bluebell Hill and Kits Coty Slip Southbound Off Aylesford.

The alternative route for traffic travelling east is via Rochester Road, Chatham Road, Kits Coty Slip Northbound on Aylesford, A229 Bluebell Hill, Bluebell Hill Slip North Off Chatham, Lord Lees Roundabout Chatham, Bluebell Hill Slip Link Bridge Chatham, Taddington Wood Roundabout Chatham, Bluebell Hill Slip Link Bridge Chatham, Maidstone Road, Mill Lane, Warren Road and Lower Warren Road.

WROTHAM WATER LANE,, TROTTISCLIFFE ME19 5ED (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023
To allow new connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Wrotham Water Lane, Trottiscliffe, on or after 20th November 2023 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Old Rounde, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Taylors Lane, Ford Lane, Wrotham Water Road, Wrotham Water Lane and vice versa.
