Kent, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

 MAIDSTONE AREA

A20 TERRACE ROAD, MAIDSTONE ME16 8HB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023

To allow manhole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of A20 Terrace Road, Maidstone, on or after 22nd November 2023 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of number 2, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via A26 Tonbridge Road, A228 Malling Road, A228 Ashton Way, A20 London Road, and vice versa.

B2163 HEATH ROAD, WEST FARLEIGH ME15 0BW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of B2163 Heath Road, West Farleigh, on or after 21st November 2023 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junction Kettle Lane and Gallants Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2163 Heath Road, B2163 Dean Street, B2010 Lower Road, B2163 Ewell Lane and vice versa.

CHARLTON LANE, WEST FARLEIGH ME15 0NY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023

To allow sewer connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Charlton Lane, West Farleigh, on or after 6th November 2023 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Elmscroft House, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Charlton Lane, B2010 Lower Road, B2163 Ewell Lane and vice versa.

CRANBORNE AVENUE, MAIDSTONE ME15 7EE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023

To allow connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Cranborne Avenue, Maidstone, on or after 6th November 2023 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with Plains Avenue, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Plains Avenue, Marion Crescent, Cranborne Avenue and vice versa.

DEAN STREET, EAST FARLEIGH ME15 0HN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023

To allow electrical connection works to be carried out Kent County Council has made Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Dean Street, East Farleigh, on or after 6th November 2023 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Hazeldene, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Dean Street, B2163 Heath Road, B2163 Ewell Lane, B2010 Lower Road, Dean Street and vice versa.

HILL GREEN ROAD, STOCKBURY ME9 7UT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023

To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Hill Green Road, Stockbury, on or after 7th November 2023 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Hill Tops, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Hill Green Road, Yelsted Road, Lower Hartlip Road, Cradles Road, Hill Green Road and vice versa.

LOWER FANT ROAD, MAIDSTONE, ME16 8TQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023

To allow gas main replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Lower Fant Road, Maidstone, on or after 6th November 2023 for up to 39 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Upper Fant Road and Roseholme, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Upper Fant Road, Bower Lane, Lower Fant Road and vice versa.

PAYNES LANE, MAIDSTONE ME15 9QR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023

To allow frame and cover replacement works to be carried out Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Paynes Lane, Maidstone, on or after 7th November 2023 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with Boughton Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for traffic travelling west is via Boughton Lane, A229 Loose Road, Paynes Lane.

The alternative route for traffic travelling east is via Pear Tree Lane, Norrington Road, A229 Loose Road.

WILLOW WAY, MAIDSTONE, ME15 7ST (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023

To allow pole installation works to be carried out Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Willow Way, Maidstone, on or after 7th November 2023 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Meadow Walk and Birch Tree Way, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Meadow Walk, Greenside, Birch Tree Way and vice versa.
