Kent, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

DARTFORD AREA

B255 HIGHCROSS ROAD, SOUTHFLEET, DA13 9PH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B255 Highcross Road, Southfleet, on or after 20th November 2023 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with B262 Betsham Road.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B255 Highcross Road, B262 Betsham Road and vice versa.

CHESTERFIELD DRIVE, DARTFORD, DA1 3BQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of UKPN works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chesterfield Drive, Dartford, on or after 20th November 2023 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 6.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.

CLEMENT STREET, SWANLEY, BR8 7PE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Clement Street, Swanley, on or after 21st November 2023 for up to 2 days between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Gildenhall Road and Whiffins Farm.

The alternative route is via Clement Street, Lower Road, Home Hill, B258 Top Dartford Road/Barn End Lane/High Road/Church Hill, A225 Hawley Road/Main Road, Arnolds Lane and vice versa.
