ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
A425 OLD WARWICK ROAD, A425 HIGH STREET, B4087 LOWER AVENUE,
B4087 TACHBROOK ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Old Warwick Road – between train station exit and Lower Avenue, High Street – between Lower Avenue and Wise Street, Lower Avenue – between High Street/Old Warwick Road and Spencer Street/Avenue Road, Tachbrook Road – between High Street/Old Warwick Road and Gas Street.
Reason for Order: Carriageway reconstruction, replacement of traffic signal loops and associated works as per the schedule below: Saturday 28 October (8pm) - Monday 30 October (6am) (night and day) Monday 30 October (8pm) - Tuesday 31 October (6am) (night-time only) Order Commences: 28 October 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 5 November 2023.
Access & Diversion: A425, A452, Queensway, St. Helens Road, Grosvenor Road, Prospect Road, Sydenham Drive, A425 and vice versa. Access/Egress will be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
A452 BEEHIVE HILL AND D5071 HOLLIS LANE, KENILWORTH
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as indicated follows: Beehive Hill closed between Upper Spring Lane and Malthouse Lane, Hollis Lane closed between Beehive Hill and entrance to St. Augustine’s Catholic Primary School.
Reason for Order: Installation of road studs and markings, 09.30hrs15.30hrs, Mon-Fri.
Order Commences: 30 October 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 November 2023.
Access & Diversiosn: Hollis Lane – through traffic to use Crackley Lane to/ from A429 Coventry Road (Bridge height restriction 4.2m/13ft 9in on Crackley Lane).
Beehive Hill (Clockwise) – A429 (Coventry Road, New Street), A452 (Bridge Street, Priory Road, Waverly Road), Warwick Road, St. Johns Gyratory, Warwick Road, The Square, Borrowell Lane, Castle Road, Clinton Lane, Beehive Hill.
Beehive Hill (Anti-clockwise) – Beehive Hill, Clinton Lane, Castle Road, Borrowell Lane, The Square, Warwick Road, A452 (Waverley Road, Priory Road, Bridge Street), A429 (New Street, Coventry Road). Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
B4115 ASHOW ROAD, ASHOW
Order Effect: Road closed between the A452 Leamington Road and D2234 Ashow Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing works, closed 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 31 October 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 1 November 2023.
Access & Diversion: A452 Leamington Road, B4113 (Stoneleigh Road, Coventry Road), Ashow Road and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions of Red Lane and Windmill Lane.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 28 October 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 28 October 2023.
Access & Diversion: Cromwell Lane, Hodgetts Lane, Waste Lane, Windmill Lane and vice versa.

D41520 CHARLES STREET, WARWICK
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Wharf Street and Montague Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 31 October 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 31 October 2023.
Access & Diversion: Charles Street, All Saints Road, Greville Road, Emscote Road and vice versa. The 7.5tl weight restriction on Greville Road between its junctions with All Saints Road and Emscote Road will be temporarily suspended to allow for diverted traffic. D4369 CLARENDON AVENUE, D4357 RUSSELL STREET & D4356 HALL ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as indicated follows: Clarendon Avenue closed between Clarendon Square and Tavistock Street, Russell Street closed between Clarendon Avenue and Powers Court, Hall Road closed from junction with Clarendon Avenue to o/s Kingsley School (approx. 30 metres).
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.00hrs.
Order Commences: 30 October 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 2 November 2023.
Access & Diversion: Clarendon Avenue (Clarendon Square), A452 Clarendon Place, B4099 Warwick Street, Clarendon Street, Clarendon Avenue and vice versa. Access/Egress will be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only. Access/Egress to/from Powers Court and Car Park will be maintained from Warwick Street only. Access/Egress to/from Hall Road via Beauchamp Avenue only.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic in its entirety from its junction with Warwick Road.

Order Commences: 1 November 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 17 November 2023.

Order Effect: Road between its junctions with Regent Street and Portland Place East.
Reason for Order: Road narrowing works, closed 09.30hrs-15.30hrs, weekdays only.
Order Commences: 30 October 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 November 2023.
Access & Diversion: One-Way Diversion: Regent Street, Portland Street, Portland Place East, Augusta Place, Dormer Place and Bedford Street. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
D45390 LEDBROOK ROAD, CUBBINGTON
Order Effect: Road between the junctions of Stonehouse Close and Broadway.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 31 October 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 31 October 2023.
Access & Diversion: Stonehouse Close, Windmill Hill, Queen Street, Ledbrook Road and vice versa. Limited access to Boddington Close. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
GLASSHOUSE LANE & LEYES LANE, KENILWORTH
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable road surfacing, traffic calming feature installation and lining and associated works.
Order Commences: 30 October 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 5 November 2023.
Access & Diversion: Glasshouse Lane, Birches Lane, St Johns, Warwick Road, Waverley Road, Priory Road, Upper Rosemary Hill, Albion Street, Stoneleigh Road, Mill End, Dalehouse Lane, Knowle Hill and vice versa. Contractor: C R Reynolds Ltd, Tel: 07519 984 644.
MARKET STREET, WARWICK
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Market Place to the exit from the car park outside Boots.
Reason for Order: To enable works for rebuild of a sluice valve chamber.
Order Commences: 29 October 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 29 October 2023.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH F1365 UPPER ROSEMARY HILL, KENILWORTH
Order Effect: Footpath closed from Upper Rosemary Hill to School Lane.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works.
Order Commences: 30 October 2023 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 10 November 2023.
Access & Diversion: School Lane, Rosemary Hill, Upper Rosemary Hill and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
BRIDGE STREET, WARWICK
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Abandonment of mains, installation of services and connections.
Order Commences: 15 November 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 21 November 2023.
Access & Diversion: Bridge Street and vice versa.
Contractor: Sapphire Utility Solutions, Tel: 01455 232 822.
FOSSE WAY, RADFORD SEMELE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Installation of new water connection from main in verge.
Order Commences: 11 November 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 12 November 2023.
Access & Diversion: Fosse Way, Banbury Road, Oakley Wood Road, Cycleway from Harbury Lane to Access Road from Church Hill, Tachbrook Road, High Street, Radford Road, Southam Road and vice versa. Contractor: Go Traffic Management, Tel: 01158 965 832.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

KENILWORTH) (20 MPH ZONE) ORDER 2023
(GLASSHOUSE LANE AND DENEWOOD WAY, KENILWORTH)
(30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2023
Warwickshire County Council has made the above-named Orders which:
– Creates a 20mph Zone (to replace the existing 30mph and 50mph speed limits) on the lengths of roads described in Schedule 1 below.
– Extends the existing 30mph speed limit on Glasshouse Lane, Kenilworth (to replace part of the existing 50mph speed limit) and to re-impose the 30mph speed limit on part of Denewood Way, Kenilworth, as described in Schedule 2 below.
– Revokes the “Warwickshire County Council (Glasshouse Lane, Edwards Grove and Denewood Way, Kenilworth) (30 & 50 MPH Speed Limits) Order 2012”.
The Orders will commence on Monday, 30th October 2023.
A copy of this notice, the made Orders, the Order to be revoked, a plan showing the lengths of roads affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Orders, can be inspected at Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick during usual opening hours and are available to view on the website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district.

Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
SCHEDULE 1
(20 MPH ZONE)
(i) Edwards Grove, Kenilworth
The entire length from its junction with Glasshouse Lane.
(ii) Denewood Way, Kenilworth
From its junction with Glasshouse Lane (the section leading to property numbers 1 to 6) in a south westerly direction for a distance of 17 metres and then from this point in a north westerly direction for a distance of 28 metres and in a south easterly direction for 10 metres.
(iii) Glasshouse Lane, Kenilworth
From a point 55 metres south-east of Crewe Lane, south-eastwards for a distance of 490 metres.
SCHEDULE 2
(30 MPH SPEED LIMIT)
Glasshouse Lane, Kenilworth
(i) From a point 25 metres south-west of the access leading to property numbers 91 to 111 Glasshouse Lane, north-eastwards then northwestwards for a distance of 420 metres.
Denewood Way, Kenilworth
(ii) From its junction with Hidcote Road (the section leading to property numbers 7 to 15) in a south easterly direction for a distance of 71 metres.
