What is happening?
REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL
A171 BIRK BROW, GUISBOROUGH (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2023
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the length of road specified below.
The Order prohibits any vehicle from proceeding in the lengths of road specified in the schedule below. Access will be available to residents’ properties within the closure. Local diversions will be in operation.
The Order came into operation on 23.10.23 and remains in operation for 18 months although it is envisaged that the works will be completed within 2 days which will be notified in advance by signage and traffic management.
SCHEDULE
A171 Birk Brow, Guisborough from the bottom to the entrance to the car park. (Access to Aysdale Gate with remain open).
Stanghow Ridge from its junction with Jenny Frisk Road to junction with A171.
