CHADA AVENUE AREA, GILLINGHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable gas main replacement works to be carried out -
Chada Avenue, Cleave Road and Oxford Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic as follows - for the entire length of Chada Avenue and Cleave Road, and in Oxford Road across the junction with Cleave Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Alternative routes will be provided and signed as the works progress.
This order will come into force on Monday, 4 December 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 4 December 2023 and are programmed for completion within six weeks. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

CYCLEWAY BETWEEN KNIGHT ROAD AND ESPLANADE
STROOD
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic for safety reasons during the construction of a floodwall and floodgate - Shared Cycleway and Footway between Knight Road and Esplanade Strood - to be closed between Knight Road and Esplanade. An alternative route will be available via Commercial Road and Knight Road.
This order will come into force on Thursday, 30 November 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Thursday, 30 November 2023 and are programmed for completion within five months. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

COOLING ROAD, HIGH HALSTOW
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a new telephone connection to be made -
Cooling Road, High Halstow - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from the junction with Christmas Lane for a distance of 450 metres in a westerly direction. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Christmas Lane, A228, Hollywood Lane, B2000, Cooling Road, Main Road, Lipwell Hill and Cooling Road.
This order will come into force on Tuesday, 7 November 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 7 November 2023 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

FERNDALE ROAD, GILLINGHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LEFT TURN) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic for inspection and test of Combined Sewer Overflow monitoring equipment -
Ferndale Road, Gillingham – westbound traffic in Ferndale Road will be prohibited from turning left into Gillingham Road. An alternative route will be available via Ingram Road, Church Street and turn at The Strand roundabout. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected.
This order will come into force on Tuesday, 7 November 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 7 November 2023 and are programmed for completion within two nights (with works taking place between between midnight and 4am each night). The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs
are being displayed.

MAIDSTONE ROAD, ROCHESTER
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a high friction surface to be laid over the pedestrian crossing -
Maidstone Road, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Kings Avenue and the junction with Shaws Way. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be provided and signed via City Way.
This order will come into force on Wednesday, 15 November 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Wednesday, 15 November 2023 and are programmed for completion within one night (with works taking place between 7pm and 7am). The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
