HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Ceredigion, gyda chydsyniad Llywodraeth Cymru, yn cymeradwyo estyniad i’r gorchymyn i gau Llwybr Troed 18/5 Cwm Rheidol o dan Adran 15(5) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991 ac yn unol â Rheoliad 9 o Reoliadau Gweithdrefn Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1992), a’i effaith fydd gwahardd unrhyw gerddwyr rhag mynd ar hyd y rhan honno o’r hawl dramwy gyhoeddus a adwaenir fel: Llwybr Troed 18/5 Cwm Rheidol rhwng o SN7113:7903 ger Tyˆ Poeth ac yn teithio i’r gogledd-orllewin trwy Coed Dol-fawr i SN7014:7987 i’r ffordd annosbarthedig. Nid oes llwybr amgen. Mae angen yr estyniad i’r Gorchymyn er mwyn sicrhau diogelwch y cyhoedd tra bod gwaith i glirio coed sydd wedi cwympo ar hyd y llwybr. Lle bo’n briodol, gall gorchmynion rheoleiddio traffig dros dro barhau mewn grym am gyfnod heb fod yn fwy na chwe mis. Bydd yr estyniad i’r Gorchymyn yn dechrau ar 5ed o mis Tachwedd 2023.
Mae’r Cyngor yn bwriadu, heb fod yn llai na 7 diwrnod o 01/11/2023, wneud Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Ceredigion (Maeshendre, Waunfawr, Aberystwyth) (Gwahardd Traffig Drwodd Dros Dro) 2023 gan wahardd pob cerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd y briffordd honno. Cedwir mynediad i gerddwyr. Y ffordd arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n mynd i gyfeiriad y gogledd o bwynt i’r de o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd yw teithio i’r gorllewin ar hyd Maeshendre i’r gyffordd â’r C1004, Heol Waunfawr. Trowch i’r dde i’r C1004, Heol Waunfawr gan deithio i’r gyffordd â chefnffordd yr A487. Trowch i’r dde i gefnffordd yr A487 gan deithio i’r gyffordd â Maeshendre hyd y pwynt i’r gogledd o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd; ac i’r gwrthwyneb. Mae’r ffordd arall oddeutu ¾ milltir. Bwriedir i’r gwaith ddechrau ar 13/11/2023 a bydd yn parhau hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith o adeiladu’r llwybr a rennir. Dylai hyn gymryd oddeutu 6 wythnos. Gall y Gorchymyn barhau mewn grym am 18 mis.

NOTICE is hereby given that Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council with the consent of the Welsh Government approves the extension of the closure of Footpath 18/5 Cwm Rheidol under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended by the Road Traffic) Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and in accordance with Regulation 9 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992, the effect of which will be to prohibit any walkers, cyclists from proceeding along the length of public right of way known as: Footpath 18/5 Cwm Rheidol between from SN7113:7903 near Tyˆ Poeth, travelling to the north-west through Dol-Fawr Woods to SN7014:7987 to the unclassified road. There is no alternative route. The extension to the Order is required to ensure public safety whilst windblown trees are being cleared. Where appropriate temporary traffic regulation orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding six months. The extension to the Order will commence on the 5th November 2023.
The Council intends, not less than 7 days from 01/11/2023, to make the Ceredigion County Council (Maeshendre, Waunfawr, Aberystwyth) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2023 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained at all times. The alternative route for northbound traffic from a point south of the closure is to travel in a westerly direction along Maeshendre to its junction with the C1004 Waunfawr Road. Turn right onto C1004 Waunfawr Road and travel to its junction with the A487T. Turn right onto the A487T and travel to its junction with Maeshendre, a point north of the closure; and vice versa. A total distance of approximately ¾ mile. It is intended that works will commence on 13/11/2023 and will continue until the construction of the shared path has been completed, which should take approximately 6 weeks. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.
