ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council ("the Council") has on 25 October 2023 made the Order namec below under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when they come into operation on 30 October 2023 will introduce various changes to the waiting or parking restrictions in the part or parts of the roads identified:

Modifications

Some changes to the order as originally proposed and advertised on 25 August are as follows:-

Brighton & Hove Outer Various Controlled Parking Zones Consolidation Order 2018 Amendment Order No.20 2023

- Proposed extension to shared bays in Blaker Street - This has been withdrawn from the order.

- Proposed motorcycle bay in Broad Street - This has been withdrawn from the order.

- Proposed extension to double yellow lines in Woodlands -This has been withdrawn from the order.

- Proposed removal of disabled badge holders parking bay in Melbourne Street - This has been withdrawn from the order.

A copy of this Notice, the Orders as made and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Orders may be seen online at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/current-tros.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
