What is happening?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: ZA23/25403/FUL. Proposal: Residential development with access associated landscaping green infrastructure and other associated works for R N Wooler & Co Location: Land Off Marton Road Gargrave Reason: Is a Major Development proposal.

Application No: ZA23/25409/FUL. Proposal: Proposed change of use and extension of existing garden building to ancillary accommodation for Mrs Lindsey Smith Location: The Old Smithy Main Road Kildwick BD20 9BB Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA23/25379/FUL. Proposal: To fit flue and flue guard to front of house to facilitate installation of gas boiler in basement for Mr Barrie Thomas Location: 20 Gargrave Road Skipton BD23 1PJ Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

The applications are available to view and for comment online at publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications or electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 16th November 2023. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet.
