London Road and Station Road, Temporary Closures
What is happening?

NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council has made an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:
London Road, Fowlmere
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1293
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along London Road, Fowlmere as lies between Chrishall Road (C261) and Newlands. The alternative route for vehicles is via A10 -A505 and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 6 November 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 5 May 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 6 November and 10 November 2023.
Station Road, Odsey & Steeple Morden
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1257
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road, Odsey & Steeple Morden as lies between Ashwell Road and Station Road (C276). The alternative route for vehicles is via Ashwell Road - Ashwell Road, Steeple Morden Guilden Morden - Ashwell Road, Guilden Morden -Ashwell Road, Ashwell - Station Road - Station Road (C276), Steeple Moeden and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 7 November 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 6 May 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 7 November and 9 November 2023.
Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders.
The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
