Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Oundle Road, Orton Waterville, Peterborough,

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2023    Ref: 24-323

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Oundle Road, Orton Waterville, as lies between its junctions with Joseph Odam Way and Orton Parkway. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via Lynch Wood. The proposed order will come into force on the 29/10/2023 and will continue until the Ducting and Chamber Installation works have been completed or until the 28/10/2024, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place from 08:00hrs to 18:00hrs on the 29/10/2023 and the 05/11/2023, only. For further information

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Bourges Boulevard, Peterborough, Temporary Prohibition of

Through Traffic Order 2023                            Ref: 24-337

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Bourges Boulevard closed at its junction with Maskew Avenue(residential single carriageway section). The dual carriageway section of Bourges Boulevard is not affected. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Maskew Ave, A15 Bourges Boulevard, Taverners Rd and Searjeant St. The proposed order will come into force on the 06/11/2023 and will continue until the electrical installation works have been completed or until the 05/11/2024, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpaths/cycleways known as Gostwick to Brimbles Way Cyclepath, Orton Brimbles Cyclepaths, Willonholt and Otterbrook as shown in the schedule below:

The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpaths/cycleways. The alternative routes for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order will be signed locally on site.The proposed Order will come into operation on 02/11/2023 and will continue until the Cut & Patch works have been completed or until the 01/05/2024, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough, Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic, 

Notice 24-346 Helpston Road, Ailsworth, Peterborough Ref: 24-346

The Council of the City of Peterborough hereby gives notice pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 that from the 30/10/2023 to the 03/11/2023 no vehicle shall proceed along the road known as Helpston Road, Ailsworth from numbers 33 to 35. This notice is made in the interest of telecoms cabling works being required to be executed on the above road and will remain effective for 5 days. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this notice. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order is via: Helpston Rd, Castor Rd, Stamford Rd, Castor Rd, Marholm Rd, Peterborough Rd, Main St and vice versa. It is anticipated that these works will take place from the 30/10/2023 to the 03/11/2023. The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
