(Washington: A283) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council has made a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce a 50mph speed limit on the A283 Wiston Bends from a point 240 metres east of Mouse Lane south-eastwards for a distance of 600 metres.
The Order will come into operation on 6 November 2023
Paper copies of documents will not be available to view in council offices or libraries. People without access to a computer who wish to have a copy of the Order should telephone the West Sussex County Council Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive a copy by post.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirements of the act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from 2 November 2023, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
