FIBRE INSTALLATION WORKS

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below to control traffic.

WHERE, WHAT & WHEN:

Martello Road - road closed to all vehicles at its junction with Canford Cliffs Road.
Anticipated dates: Monday 30 October up to and including Friday 10 November 2023.

Spencer Road - road closed to all vehicles at its junction with Canford Cliffs Road.
Anticipated dates: Monday 30 October up to and including Friday 10 November 2023.

Spencer Road - road closed to all vehicles in an eastbound direction from its junction with De Mauley Road and Ravine Road and then changed to a westbound direction.

Anticipated dates: Monday 13 November up to and including Friday 24 November 2023

Bury Road - mad closed to all vehicles at its junction with Leicester Road followed by a closure at its junction with Western Road.

Anticipated dates: Monday 20 November up to and including Friday 1 December 2023.

Please note: this schedule of works is on a rolling road/phased basis. Residents will be informed by letter with further details by CCN/CityFibre

WHY: For safety whilst installation of fibre duct cabling is undertaken under to two-way temporary signals on Canford Cliffs Road, Leicester Road and Western Road. ACCESS: Full Emergency Service access will be maintained. Access maintained for residents only.

DIVERSION: please follow signed routes.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Council regrets any inconvenience caused by this Traffic Order.
