What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
B6050 DUNSTON ROAD, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 30th October 2023 to 1st November
2023
WHERE: B6050 Dunston Road, Chesterfield
between a point 75 metres east of its junction
with Sheepbridge Lane for a distance of 100
metres in an easterly direction.
REASON: To facilitate water apparatus renewal
works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6050 Dunston Road
(from point of closure), Racecourse Road, St
Johns Road, B6150, B6051, Dunston Road (to
point of closure) and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever
reasonably possible, on the affected length of
road. The road will re-open as soon as the work
is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any
inconvenience caused while work takes place.

The County Council has made an Order under
Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
