VARIOUS ROADS, MEDWAY
(COMMUNITY EVENTS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) (NO. 3) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to facilitate the construction and removal of structures required for the holding of public community events, or because of the likelihood of danger to the public whilst an event is taking place –
Traffic management - To facilitate the holding of the event mentioned in column (1) of the Table, on the dates and between the times set out in the corresponding columns (2) and (3), the traffic management provisions detailed in the Schedule identified in the corresponding column (4) will apply. These provisions will be in force as indicated in the schedule below.
Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Alternative routes for through traffic will be signed locally. Access to premises will be maintained where possible.
This order will come into force on Friday, 3 November 2023 and will cease to have effect on Thursday, 21 December 2023. The order will only be effective only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Road closures and traffic restrictions
Castle Hill from its junction of Esplanade to its junction with Epaul Lane, to include Castle Hill Court – to include suspension of one-way operation to allow resident/event vehicle access. Epaul Lane from its junction of Castle Hill to its junction with Boley Hill – to include suspension of no entry and one- way operation to allow resident/event vehicle access.
High Street Rochester from its junction of Corporation Street bus lane to its junction with Star Hill – to include suspension of one-way operation for authorised vehicles only.
Almon Place at its point 50m northeast of High Street to its junction with High Street.
Bishops Walk at its junction with High Street.
Eastgate Court at its junction with High Street. Eastgate Terrace at its junction with High Street.
Crow Lane from its junction of High Street to its junction with Vines Lane.

Traffic restrictions
Corporation Street (Chatham bound) no vehicle is permitted to right hand turn into Northgate. Corporation Street (Chatham bound) no vehicle is permitted to left turn into Gas House Road. Corporation Street (Strood bound) no vehicle is permitted to right turn into Gas House Road. Corporation Street bus lane suspended – entire length.
Gas House Road – no vehicle is permitted to turn right into Corporation Street Riverside Strood, bus/taxis gate – to include Dickensian Christmas Festival Park and ride buses
Waterfront Way Bus Station – to include Dickensian Christmas Festival Park and ride buses
Visitors Information Centre coach set down/pick up, Corporation Street Rochester
Suspension of existing maximum waiting period set down / pick up one hour only to be
replaced with authorised vehicles only

BRASENOSE ROAD, GILLINGHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable gas main replacement works to be carried out -
Brasenose Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Barnsole Road and the junction with Oxford Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Barnsole Road and Oxford Road.
This order will come into force on Monday, 6 November 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 6 November 2023 and are programmed for completion within four weeks. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

PILGRIMS WAY, CUXTON
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -
Pilgrims Way, Cuxton - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 9 Pilgrims Way, Cuxton. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Sundridge Hill and Pilgrims Way.
This order will come into force on Monday, 6 November 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 6 November 2023 and are programmed for completion within five days. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
