HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n cyflwyno dros dro y cyfyngiad a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol oherwydd gwaith adfer annigonol i’r ffordd yn dilyn atgyweiriadau i garthffos a llyncdwll Dŵr Cymru ac mae er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 29/10/2023 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod o 18 mis neu hyd nes bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 08:00 a 13:00 ar 29/10/2023. Fodd bynnag, ni fydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol ond ar yr amser ac i’r graddau a nodir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion traffig a bennir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016. Atodlen-Ni chaiff unrhyw un achosi i gerbyd fynd ar hyd Stryd Nolton, Pen-ybont ar Ogwr o’i chyffordd â Freeschool Court i’r gyffordd â Stryd Edward, Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr am bellter o 160 metr. Pan fydd y gorchymyn mewn grym, bydd y gorchmynion traffig parhaol presennol yn cael eu hatal fel a ganlyn:1.Atal dros dro y Dim Mynediad o Stryd Nolton i Freeschool Court yn ystod y cyfnod cau. 2. Atal dros dro y gorchymyn traffig un ffordd ar hyd Stryd Nolton, o’i chyffordd â Stryd Edward i’w chyffordd â Stryd Bracla. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yw trwy Freeschool Court, Stryd Jenkins, Heol Llangrallo, Heol Tremains, Stryd Bracla a Stryd Nolton. Bydd mynediad drwy’r cyfyngiadau ar gael i’r Heddlu, y Gwasanaeth Tân a’r Gwasanaeth Ambiwlans sy’n ymateb i argyfyngau. Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr i bob eiddo o fewn y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau diffiniedig gydol y cyfnod cau. Dyddiedig: 26/10/2023

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (NOLTON STREET, BRIDGEND) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Bridgend in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order which temporarily introduces the restriction set out in the schedule below. 
The Order is necessary due to insufficient reinstatement of carriageway following repairs to DCWW sewer and swallow hole and is in the interest of public safety. The Order will come into force on the 29/10/2023 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 08:00 and 13:00 on the 29/10/2023.The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.ScheduleNo person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Nolton Street, Bridgend from its junction with Freeschool Court to its junction with Edward street, Bridgend for a distance of 160 metres. During the operation of the order the existing permanent traffic orders will be suspended as follows:1. Temporary suspension of No Entry from Nolton Street to Freeschool Court during period of closure. 2.Temporary Suspension of One way traffic order along Nolton Street, from its junction with Edward Street to its junction with Brackla Street. The alternative route for vehicles is via Freeschool Court, Jenkins Street, Coychurch road, Tremains road, Brackla street and Nolton street. Access will be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure. Dated: 26/10/2023
