City Of Salford Fir Street Area - 20 Mph Speed Limit And Revocation
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford proposes to make CITY OF SALFORD (FIR STREET AREA) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT AND REVOCATION) ORDER 2023 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce 20mph on the following roads: Allenby Rd, Ash Ave, Bankfield Ave, Banklands Cl, Bedford Gr, Belgrave Rd, Berkshire Dr, Birch Ave, Bowness Ave, Buckingham Rd, Byng Ave, Chester Cl, Chestnut Ave, Cornwall Rd, Cumberland Ave, Derby Cl, Devon Rd, Dorset Rd, Dudley Rd, Durham Gr, Enticott Rd, Essex Gardens, Fairfield Rd, Fir St, Flint Gr, Graham Crescent,Grange Place, Haig Ave, Hamilton Ave, Hampton Rd, Hawthorn Dr, Hertford Gr, Hilton Dr, Kent Rd, Keswick Cl, Kitchener Ave, Laburnum Rd, Lancaster Rd, Lincoln Ave, Lord’s St, Melville Rd, Moss Ln, Mytholme Ave, Norfolk Cl, Oak Ave, Oxford Gr, Pembroke Gr, Primary Cl, Purley Dr, Rosebank Rd, Rutland Rd, School Ln, Somerset Cl, Sussex Rd, The Vista, Victory Rd, Warwick Rd, Woodbine Ave, Wright Trees Villas, York Rd for their entire length unless otherwise specified and Liverpool Rd from its western junction with Liverpool Road to its cul-de-sac end.
Existing Orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals. A copy of the proposed Order, a plan and the statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the above Order can be viewed online at http://www.salford.gov.uk/parking-roadsand-travel/roads/traffic-orders/. The proposed documents may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm to Fri inclusive.
