(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2023

On 16 October 2023 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 62 of the Roads Scotland Act 1984, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged with the Fireworks Display Event at Strathclyde Country Park) on the undernoted roads by reason of public safety on or near those locations.

Road Closure

B754 Airbles Road, Motherwell offside lane from the junction with A723 Hamilton Road south eastwards for a distance of 40 metres or thereby.

Braedale Avenue, Motherwell from the junction with the A723 Hamilton Road, north eastwards for a distance of 20 metres or thereby.

Bothwellhaugh Road, Bellshill from its junction with McCallum Gardens, south eastwards then south westwards for a distance of 700 metres or thereby.

Prohibition of Right Turn Manoeuvre

From A723 Hamilton Road, Motherwell Southbound at its junction with B754 Airbles Road and Strathclyde Country Park Access.

No Waiting and No Loading at any time from 1201hrs to 2359hrs Sunday 5th November 2023

Tinkers Lane, Motherwell over its entire length.           West Kerbline

Greenacres, Motherwell over its entire length.              West Kerbline

Airbles Farm Road, Motherwell over its entire length. South-east Kerbline

The Loaning, Motherwell from its junction with A723

Hamilton Road to its junction with Ladywell Road.      East Kerbline

Ladywell Road, Motherwell from its junction with The Loaning, eastwards for a distance of 30 metres

or thereby.                                                                            South Kerbline

Ladywell Road, Motherwell from its junction with The Loaning, eastwards to its termination,

a distance of 425 metres or thereby.                              North Kerbline

Paragon Drive, Motherwell from its junction with

Tinkers Lane to its junction with Eagles Crescent.       North Kerbline Pedestrian access will be permitted at all times.

The closures and restrictions will only be valid when the appropriate signing is in place.

The Order will come into operation at 1201 hours and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Sunday, 5 November 2023.
