Fleet Street - Road Traffic Regulation to Facilitate EV Charging Point Installation Works

THE LEICESTER (FLEET STREET) (TEMPORARY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicester City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, for the following anticipated period of time to: Prohibit the movement of all vehicles in an eastbound direction and prohibit waiting and loading at any time on Fleet Street between its junction with Lee Street and a point 30 metres west thereof from 8.00am on Monday 6th November 2023 until 8.00am on Monday 13th November 2023.
Diversion route: Byron Street, Dryden Street, Old Milton Street, Wharf Street South.
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles in a westbound direction and prohibit waiting and loading at any time on Fleet Street between its junction with Lee Street and a point 30 metres west thereof from 8.00am on Monday 13th November 2023 until 8.00am on Friday 17th November 2023.
Diversion route: Lee Street.
The Order will come into effect on the 13th November 2023 and will continue in force for up to 18 months, or until the order is no longer deemed necessary, whichever is the earlier.
This order is made to facilitate EV charging point installation works taking place and to prevent the likeliness of danger to the public. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
