Hagg Bridge - Temporary Traffic Regulation
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
HAGG BRIDGE, SUTTON UPON DERWENT
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council
intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice
to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding along Hagg Bridge, Sutton
Upon Derwent during the following period Monday
13 November 2023 until Friday 1 December 2023.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be
carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety
of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is
anticipated that the works will be completed within 19 days.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road
closure will be via Hagg Lane, road from Hagg Lane to
General Lane, Main Street, Melbourne Road, Hodsow Lane
Roundabout, York Road, Sutton Lane, The Street,
Sandhill Lane and Common Lane.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure.
The road will be closed to all traffic.
