What is happening?
HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THRIFT FARM LANE, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Thrift Farm Lane, Borehamwood from its junction with B5378 Shenley Road south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Nicholas Hawksmoor Drive, a distance of approximately 81m ("the Road"), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD DURING THE 'CASSIOBURY PARK FIREWORKS DISPLAY') ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicles from waiting, loading and unloading at any time on both sides of the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), whilst signs are in place:-
1. that length of Cassiobury Park Avenue, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road north westwards to its junction with Gade Avenue, a distance of approximately 1014m.
2. that length of Coningesby Drive, Watford from its junction with Langley Way north westwards for its entire length.
3. that length of Gade Avenue, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road north westwards and north eastwards for its entire length.
4. that length of Langley Way, Watford from its junction with the Cassiobury Drive roundabout south westwards to its junction with Parkside Drive, a distance of approximately 379m.
5. that length of Oak View, Watford from its junction with Gade Avenue westwards, north eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.
6. that length of Metropolitan Station Approach, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 256m.
7. that length of Parkside Drive, Watford from its junction with Langley Way south eastwards to its junction with The Gardens, a distance of approximately 500m.
8. that length of Shepherds Road, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road north westwards for its entire length.
9. that length of Swiss Avenue, Watford from its junction with Gade Avenue north eastwards to its junction with Cassiobury Park Avenue, a distance of approximately 318m.
10. that length of Swiss Close, Watford from its junction with Swiss Avenue north westwards and clockwise for its entire length. The Order is needed to ensure public safety and prevent traffic congestion for the duration of the 'Cassiobury Park Fireworks Display'.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SYDNEY ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sydney Road, Watford from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.30 Sydney Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 35m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Sydney Road, Hagden Lane, Whippendell Road and Sydney Road.
The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN PHILLIPERS, WATFORD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Phillipers, Watford from its junction with York Way north eastwards to its junction with Bowmans Green, a distance of approximately 88m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via York Way, The Gossamers and Phillipers.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A411 Chalk Hills, Oxhey from its junction with the A4008 Bushey Arches roundabout south eastwards for a distance of approximately 18m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via A4125 (Hampermill Lane/Sandy Lane/Watford Road), B469 Green Lane, A4125 (Church Road/High Street), A404 (Rickmansworth Road/Pinner Road/Pinner Green/ Uxbridge Road), A410 Uxbridge Road and A4008 (Oxhey Lane/ Pinner Road/A4008 Bushey Arches roundabout).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 6 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PARK AVENUE, BUSHEY) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Park Avenue, Bushey from its junction with the Bushey Mill Lane roundabout south westwards to its junction with Mead Way, a distance of approximately 630m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Bushey Mill Lane and Mead Way. The Order is needed because street lighting works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ESTCOURT ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Estcourt Road, Watford from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.15 Estcourt Road south westwards to a point in line with the southern boundary of No.7 Estcourt Road, a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Estcourt Road, St Johns Road, Woodford Road, Clarendon Road and A411 Beechen Grove.
The Order is needed because water service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 25 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BUCKS HILL, SARRATT) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bucks Hill, Sarratt from a point 125m north west of its junction with Old House Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 20m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Bucks Hill, Toms Hill, Chandlers Lane, Redhall Lane, Sarratt Road, Dimmocks Lane, The Green, Poles Hill, Dunny Lane, The Street, The Common and Bucks Hill.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 25 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HORSESHOE LANE, WATFORD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above# Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Horseshoe Lane, Watford from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.13 Horseshoe Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 46m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Horseshoe Lane, A405 North Orbital Road, Sheepcot Lane, High Street and Horseshoe Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of A4125 Eastbury Road, Watford/A4125 Hampermill Lane, Oxhey Hall from its junction with the A4008 Bushey Arches roundabout south westwards to its junction with Hillcroft Crescent, a distance of approximately 1899m.
An alternative route will be via A411 Chalk Hill, A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road/Oxhey Lane), A410 Uxbridge Road, A404 (Uxbridge Road/Pinner Green/Pinner Road/Rickmansworth Road), A4125 (High Street/Church Road), B469 Green Lane and A4125 (Watford Road/Sandy Lane/Hampermill Lane) or via A4125 (Hampermill Lane/Sandy Lane/Watford Road), B469 Green Lane, A4125 (Church Road/High Street), A404 (Rickmansworth Road/ Pinner Road/Pinner Green/Uxbridge Road), A410 Uxbridge Road and A4008 (Oxhey Lane/Pinner Road).
2. that length of B4542 Brookdene Avenue, Oxhey Hall from its junction with A4125 Hampermill Lane south eastwards to its junction with Oaklands Avenue, a distance of approximately 655m.
An alternative route will be via A4125 (Hampermill Lane/Sandy Lane) and B4542 (The Woods/Prestwick Road/Brookdene Avenue). The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 23 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN MOVEMENTS FROM A404 RICKMANSWORTH ROAD INTO THE M25 (JUNCTION 18) SOUTHBOUND SLIP ROAD LEADING ONTO THE SOUTHBOUND CARRIAGEWAY OF THE M25, CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from the eastbound carriageway of A404 Rickmansworth Road into the M25 (junction 18) southbound slip road leading onto the southbound carriageway of the M25, Chorleywood, whilst works are in progress ("the Roads").
An alternative route will be via A404 (Rickmansworth Road/ Chorleywood Road), the A412 Rectory Road/A412 Park Road roundabout and A404 (Chorleywood Road/Rickmansworth Road). The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 23 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Glenhaven Avenue, Borehamwood from its junction with B5378 Shenley Road north westwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
