EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Elmbank Avenue, Kilmarnock, Town Centre) (Temporary Road Closure, Suspension of Restrictions and Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2023

On 24th October 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to maintain road safety during the holding of this years Remembrance Sunday Ceremony

Road Closure – Elmbank Avenue, Kilmarnock, Town Centre, from the junction of Elmbank Drive to the edge of London Road in front of the Dick Institute.

No Waiting At Any Time – Elmbank Avenue, Kilmarnock, Town Centre, from the junction of Elmbank Drive to the edge of London Road in front of the Dick Institute

The Order shall come into force on 12th November 2023 at 06:00 until 12th November 2023 at 14:00 or until the event is over whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented ony when appropriate signs are displayed.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period

EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL

(Bank Street, Kilmarnock - Town Centre) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2023

On 24th October 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Scottish Power Works

Temporary Road Closure – Bank Street, Kilmarnock - Town Centre, Bank Street - Closed from subway to Bank Place.

The Order commences on 08 November 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 08 November 2023 at 07:00 until 17 November 2023 at 23:59

The road is expected to be closed between 07:00 and 23:59 each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers will only be permited when safe to do so. Pedestrian access will be maintained throught the closure period

An alternative route will be signed via Sandbed Street - St Marnocks Street - John Finnie Street - West George Street - East George Street - Green Street - Sturrock Street - Fowlds Street - St Marnocks Street - Bank Place

SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL

(A713 Dalmellington Road, Ayr - Belmont) (Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2023

On 19th October 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Carriageway Resurfacing

Temporary Road Closure – A713 Dalmellington Road, Ayr - Belmont, 400m.

No Waiting At Any Time - A713 Dalmellington Road, Ayr - Belmont, 400m

The Order commences on 06 November 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 06 November 2023 at 18:00 until 18 November 2023 at 08:00

The road is expected to be closed between 18:00 and 08:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected.

Access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.

An alternative route will be signed via Diversion via Dalmellington Road turning left onto Belmont then left onto Maybole Road to the A77 junction then left along the A77 Trunk Road to the Bankfield Roundabout and return.
