BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE

(MANCHESTER OLD ROAD, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LIMITED WAITING BAY & TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily;
i. Prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time along the north side of Manchester Old Road from a point 25 metres east of its junction with Chapel Street for a distance of 33 metres in an easterly direction,
ii. Suspend (part of) the Borough of Rochdale ((Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Middleton Township) Order 2008) (Amendment) (No.65) Order 2019

Waiting Limited 1 Hour, No Return Within 1 Hour Manchester Old Road, Middleton
 The north side from a point 25 metres east of its junction with Chapel Street for a distance of 33 metres in an easterly direction
The Order is required to facilitate required telecoms equipment works and safe use of Temporary Traffic Signals.
The Order will be operative from 09:30 hours until 15:30 hours on 15th November 2023.

(TAYLOR STREET, HEYWOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Taylor Street from its junction with Market Street/Market Place to its junction with Fox Street.
The Order is required to facilitate electrical works within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 07.30 hours on 6th November 2023 until 18.00 hours on 10th November 2023.
The alternative routes are:-
Anti-clockwise – Market Street, Hill Street, Fox Street.
Clockwise – Fox Street, Hill Street, Market Street, Dawson Street, Bamford Road.

(WALTON STREET, HEYWOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) (No.3) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Walton Street from its junction with Manchester Road for a distance of 30 metres in a westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the laying of a new water main and to allow for new connections onto the main.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours on 13th November 2023 until 18.00 hours on 23rd November 2023.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Manchester Road, Newhouse Road, Walton Street and vice versa.

(ADELAIDE STREET, HEYWOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) (No.2) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Adelaide Street from its junction with Queens Park Road to its junction with John Street.
The Order is required to facilitate the laying of a new water main.
The Order will be operative from 07.30 hours on 25th October 2023 until 18.00 hours on 2nd November 2023.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Queens Park Road, Hardman Street, John Street and vice versa.

(ALKRINGTON HALL ROAD NORTH, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Alkrington Hall Road North from its junction with Manchester New Road to its junction with Dene Drive.
The Order is required to facilitate Gas Mains replacement works.
The Order will be operative from 09.30 hours until 15.30 hours each day from the 23rd October 2023 until 13th November 2023 as required.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Manchester New Road, Hall Drive, Alkrington Hall, Alkrington Hall Road North and vice versa.

(CLAYBANK STREET, HEYWOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and waiting at any time along Claybank Street;
i. From its junction with Furness Avenue to its junction with Peel Lane,
ii. From its junction with Furness Avenue to its junction with Bamford Road.
The Order is required to facilitate the resurfacing of the carriageway.
Only one section of Claybank Street will be closed at any one time
The Order for Furness Avenue to Peel Lane (I) area prohibition will be operative from 08:00 hours until 17:00 hours each day from the 30th October 2023 until 14th November 2023 as required.
The Order for Furness Avenue to Bamford Road (II) area prohibition will be operative from 08:00 hours until 17:00 hours each day from the 23rd October 2023 until 3rd November 2023 as required.
Alternative routes for vehicles will be signed on street when the closure is in operation.

(SAFE DRIVE STAY ALIVE, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LIMITED WAITING BAY & TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily;
i. Prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time along Lance Corporal Joel Halliwell VC Way on the south westerly side from a point 54 metres south east of a point opposite the south easterly kerb line of Old Hall Street for a distance of 52 metres in a south easterly direction,
ii. Suspend (part of) the Borough of Rochdale ((Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Middleton Township) Order 2008) (Amendment) (No.43) Order 2017

The Order is required for coach parking for attendees at the Safe Drive Stay Alive event 2023.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 18.00 hours each day from the 1st November 2023 until the 3rd November 2022, from the 6th November 2023 until the 9th November 2023 and from the 13th November 2023 until the 17th November 2023.

Prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Grimshaw Lane from its junction with Sandy Lane for a distance of 45 metres in a north westerly direction.
Suspend The Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council (Albany Street/Dale Street/Wood Lane) (One Way Working) Order 1999, in so far as vehicles will be permitted to travel in both directions along Albany Street, Dale Street and Wood Lane

(STAMFORD STREET, HEYWOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and from waiting at any time along Stamford Street from its junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Gregge Street.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway repairs.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 16.30 hours each day from the 27th October 2023 until 
31st October 2023 as required.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Manchester Road, Victoria Street, Gregge Street and vice versa.
